A male nurse practioner would do exactly the same thing a female nurse practioner in the same specialty.
Salary ranges can be found online: Salary.com etc
The car depends on what any particular nurse likes, and needs.
What is it you want to do?
Maybe you need to find an APN & buy him or her a cup of coffee and pick their brain
I'm only an RN but I want to get to be a FNP, so I ride a BMW R1150R.
Really impresses everyone unless it's raining, cold or snowing. Then I have to drive my 12 year old Taurus.
And by the way, there is at least one thing male NPs can do that female NPs can't. I'll leave it to you to figure out what it is.

(off topic sorry) good choice of ride (mines a BMW F800GS) but to put it away in the rain, there's a name for that in the UK
To Daniel the OP, there is a nurse practitioner forum on this site as well, you will find lots of information in there about salaries, roles and scopes of nurse practitioners across the US
Full disclosure: The Bimmer is off the road with a fried wire harness. My Darmah has some weird electrical gremlin that I can't seem to get rid of. So my daily ride is a humble WeeStrom - which is actually a terrific little machine.(off topic sorry) good choice of ride (mines a BMW F800GS) but to put it away in the rain, there's a name for that in the UKTo Daniel the OP, there is a nurse practitioner forum on this site as well, you will find lots of information in there about salaries, roles and scopes of nurse practitioners across the US
I kind of like riding in the rain but do opt for the cage for the morning commute when it's really pi**ing out there.

Hey everyone! After I get my BSN I plan to get my MSN to become a nurse practioner or higher. Can anyone please tell me what work in like in that area? I would also like to know a salary for a nurse practioner if anyone is willing to tell. I know this may be irrelevant but what kind of car do most high paid nurses drive? I am greatful for all the info I get! :)
