What has been your favorite prerequisite?

We always talk about what was hard or what we've hated... but what have you loved?

Before this semester A&P was my favorite series of classes. The complex processes of the human body were rewarding and exciting to both learn and understand.

As I enter my last semester of prerequisite courses, I think A&P has a rival for my favorite. I'm now in Chemistry and I LOVE IT. It just makes sense to me and I get excited to come home and do my homework! My professor has her doctorate in Organic Chem from Johns Hopkins, she is so knowledgeable and passionate. I swear her enthusiasm is contagious.

Throughout this process I have gained an incredible love of learning, I feel so lucky to have this insatiable thirst for knowledge!

My A&P I and II teacher was horrible, but that has been my favorite class so far. I absolutely love to understand how the body works. Microbiology is my second favorite. I HATE history. I love everything that has to do with science, but I don't like literature or history.

Specializes in Pediatrics/Developmental Pediatrics/Research/psych.

Micro. I had a great lab professor. We worked hard but it really helps with infections in patients.

Specializes in Maternal Child, Home Health, Med/Surg.

Honestly after some time I actually love micro!

I'm taking statistics and I absolutely love it! I love how numbers just make sense. It's right or it's wrong and there's really no in between. I love it!

I'm taking A&P 1 too and I enjoy it. The work load is hard but fulfilling. I love the lab work! Microscopes are so much fun!

Micro!

All of my A&P profs suck(ed), I think I really would have enjoyed that class if I'd had a good professor

Specializes in ICU.

Inorganic chemistry is my favorite. I am currently taking anatomy and so far it is my least favorite.
