Hello all,
I'm taking my first class in a three term Anatomy and Physiology sequence this fall. My question for you folks is; How many, and what classes did you take in conjunction with A&P?
I've completed micro and celllular biology, as well as genetics. While taking these courses I also took two other nursing prereqs for a total of 12 credits. I worked 40 hours and still found myself enjoying school and not remotely stressed.
With A&P this fall, I am signed up for a total of four classes(16 credits). Ethics, Intro to Soc, Math and A&P.
Thus far I have enjoyed my science classes, but I'm feeling slightly uneasy I may have taken on too much. I know this is something only truly I can determine, and am not asking you to do so. I also acknowledge that all individuals learn differently and have different circumstances regarding school (I.e, working or not, time contraints, children ect)
but still I would love to get a perspective of other what other students schedules were/are when taking A&P!
Whew - that was long. Thanks for your input.
Cheers
I took A&P 1 (5 credit with lab) with just a 2 credit class to make me 1/2 time at the CC (quarters), and I took A&P 2 with Lifespan Psychology to make me 3/4 time at the CC. I did this for a few reasons: I wanted to be able to focus on just the A&P classes because of how hard I knew it would be for me to find the focused time to study. I have 6 children with two little ones still at home full time. I was also limited to taking classes at night and/or online, so it was hard to find appropriate filler classes. My A&P class took up all of my evening class slots, and I only needed the psychology prereq which I took online. In hindsight, I should've taken the psychology class with A&P 1 since it was easier for me than A&P 2.
Kudos to those of you working AND going to school full time. I know that I couldn't do that and still make it through.
I took A&P1 last semester with PolySci oh and Lab and I think that was all. This semester I'm taking A&P2 with lab, Sociology, and Human Dev. the good thing is that the Socio and Human Dev are mini semesters when one is over the other begins. Yay!! You can do anything you put your mind to do!!

I took A&P1 with Sociology, english 2, and chemistry. It was very difficult for me because I had not taken many science classes yet. It seems like you have taken multiple science classes already so you should be fine!
