What classes are you taking in the Spring?

Published

I just registered yesterday and I'm so excited to finally be getting into Biology!! :yeah:

I'm taking...

A&P I

History of the United States

Statistics

Tools for College Survival (I'm already surviving, but this is a requirement for grad haha)

What classes are you taking?

I am taking

A&P I

English 111 (which is intro college English, I already have Eng 113 & 231, but my English 101 course from UMass won't transfer. Grr!)

Psych 241 (Developmental Psych)

Both the English & Psych will be online. I was WAY too nervous to take a math class with A&P. I *HAVE* to get an A in A&P if I want to get into the nursing school I want. So that will be my primary focus. I am so excited for A&P because I just want to get it done!!!

Good luck! A&P is very difficult! Im finishing up with it right now finals in 3weeks! At this point my stomach hurts I dont sleep much anymore and I call my kids by muscle names. Its insanely consuming. But its a fun class I have enjoyed it despite my side effects. Haha

Im taking A&P 2, microbiology and developmental psychology. Last semester then I can petition for clinicals!! Woohoo!

Specializes in ICU / PCU / Telemetry / Oncology.

A&P very difficult? Nah! That's relative ... I loved it, and I had a great professor and got top grade. You get out of it what you put into it.

As for classes in the spring? NONE! :D ... No more prereqs for me! Next stop, nursing school! Cross fingers, waiting for decisions now.

I am taking Anatomy and Physiology I, Information Systems, and Human Relations. I am really excited to Anatomy/Physiology. I have my book and have already been looking through it. I don't have to take a math class this quarter, for which I am infinitely grateful! LOL!

Specializes in LTC.

If all goes well this fall I'm hoping to finish my last year of nursing school starting in the spring.

Specializes in Neuro, Geriatrics, Progressive Care.

I am taking:

Anatomy & Physiology I

Nursing Assistant II

Home Health Care

I am taking microbiology, contemporary moral problems, and intro to literature. I am sooo excited for spring to start and im really looking forward to micro! Right now im taking onine classes through the local CC and I hate it! Ive found that I would much rather be in the anatomy lab studying for hours on end instead of doing pointless discussion on the computer.:banghead:

Specializes in Critical Care, Clinical Documentation Specialist.

I'm taking Pharmacology, Nutrition in Health & Illness, World Geography and Medical Terminology. These are the last of my pre-reqs - woohoo!

I foolishly took all my sciences (the core four) my first year so I have no more fun classes, just the hoops that are humanities to jump through. It's going to be a long semester, thankfully I was able to get in on some research to get some lab time to keep me sane.

Business English, Speech, Human Growth and Dev (closest thing to a sci, but no lab...) and philosophy. I know exactly what you mean Student4_life! This past spring I had no science classes and was stuck with the gen eds only. I took 6 classes and I was SO bored, I missed the sciences so much. I changed which school I was applying to so it added some extra pre-reqs. I was bummed because it added to my time, but the classes are great - biochem and patho this term and pharm in the next - I'm loving it! WHEEEE! :lol2:

Specializes in Family Nurse Practitioner.

English Literature and General Psychology, summer History?? and Lifespan. It will be strange not having a lab??
