I came across this is little story today, it's not breaking news. I suspect that a member of the housekeeping staff knows something about the bomb threat that required the sweep for weapons.

QuoteAccording to police in Secaucus, the bomb threat — which later was determined to be bogus — was called in to Hudson Regional Hospital on July 18. During a search, bomb detection dogs led investigators to an unlocked office closet containing dozens of firearms.
Among the weapons were 11 handguns and 27 rifles or shotguns, according to police. The closet also contained a .45 caliber semi-automatic rifle with a high-capacity magazine that was determined to be an assault rifle, and a 14-round high-capacity handgun magazine.
The arrested the guy the next day.
What the heck do you think this guy was doing? It sounds very ominous that he was keeping those weapons there.

To answer your question no. I claim my interest on my mortgage but for several years it hasn't lowered my taxes.
It pays well when he pays. Apparently, Giuliani felt cheated but he wasn't really practicing law for Trump, he was digging up dirt using Eastern European and Russian help. The PAC paid Habba and then removed her from the team. The PAC paid Evan Corcoran and he quit because he's a witness for the prosecution in the Florida documents case.
It's interesting that Wikipedia says that in 2022 more than 60% of the donations to that PAC were from retirees. I wonder what those folks believe their donations are getting used for. Would they guess legal fees for Mark Meadows or payment of Melania's fashion stylist?
This caught my attention today.
QuoteSince the men have not been charged, KVVU is not showing their faces.
This is the part that I'm hoping to talk about. Why are they protecting the faces of the two adult males who were obviously destroying the geological formation in the park? The fact that they aren't charged with a crime isn't relevant, in my mind.

People are sharing the unedited viral version online to help identify them. I liked the lady at the end something about Darwin "they should have gone down with the rock".

That's exactly as it should be. They need to be identified. At minimum, they should be shamed in their local community for such unacceptable behavior.

If they were clueless enough to donate to Trump, they might have wanted to help Melania because they aren't curious enough to discover how Melania accumulated a great deal of wealth during her husband's term. You would think now that she would divorce a man whose hand she swats away. For some people, there is never enough money to fill the other voids in their lives.
The Senate just voted to accept Shumer's point of order to consider that the two articles of impeachment presented to the Senate were unconstitutional. Then they voted to adjourn the trial.
Now Senate Republicans are complaining that they didn't move forward with unconstitutional articles of impeachment. Mike Lee is trying to explain why they should proceed with no change to the unconstitutional articles.
You can't make this up.

No you can't. I just met a Trumper tonight in a social setting. He actually has an excuse because of a closed head injury he had years back. So far, he's the only one I've met with reasonable cause. Mike Johnson acts like a guy who is incapable of thought.

I'm not a fan of the Electoral College, maybe this will work.
The Campaign to Stop Killer Robots: Philly manufacturer of military robot dogs is a target of Gaza war protests
Pennovation's Ghost Robotics has embraced the weaponization of its robots
Quote
The company designs and manufactures four-legged, dog-like mobile robots and is headquartered at the University of Pennsylvania's Pennovation Works office and lab complex. The Israeli army has been using the company's robots in the Gaza strip, according to news reports in the Haaretz newspaper and other sources.
At a protest on Penn's campus earlier this month and a subsequent march through the streets of West Philadelphia, activists carried signs and put up banners with slogans like "Ghost Robotics fuels genocide.” They called on the university to boot the firm from Pennovation....
....
Ghost Robotics' flagship product is the Vision 60, a "quadrupedal unmanned ground vehicle" or QUGV. The company doesn't call it a robot dog, but does say it "mimics how mammals operate across a range of urban and natural environments.”
The devices reportedly cost $165,000 apiece, have multiple cameras and microphones, and can get up on their own when they fall over. They're designed to collect and feed information from sensors back to their operators, for example to use as targeting data by separate weapons systems. ...
The U.S. Air Force purchased Vision 60s to monitor base perimeters and the Department of Homeland Security is testing them to detect migrants at U.S borders. Japan's military recently used the robots to help evacuate earthquake victims....
