I came across this is little story today, it's not breaking news. I suspect that a member of the housekeeping staff knows something about the bomb threat that required the sweep for weapons.

QuoteAccording to police in Secaucus, the bomb threat — which later was determined to be bogus — was called in to Hudson Regional Hospital on July 18. During a search, bomb detection dogs led investigators to an unlocked office closet containing dozens of firearms.
Among the weapons were 11 handguns and 27 rifles or shotguns, according to police. The closet also contained a .45 caliber semi-automatic rifle with a high-capacity magazine that was determined to be an assault rifle, and a 14-round high-capacity handgun magazine.
The arrested the guy the next day.
What the heck do you think this guy was doing? It sounds very ominous that he was keeping those weapons there.

So you say without providing evidence.
Meanwhile we have receipts. Lots and lots of receipts. You are ignoring the specific MTG language to make some generalized claim about liberals right now. You haven't made a specific claim, you've simply tried to insult the other member. Exactly as a troll would.

Do you care that laws about Healthcare are written by narrow minded people who are as objectively ignorant about health and care as that fellow is? Would you rather try to argue about your beliefs about abortion. In think that deserves its own thread if that's what you want. This is more of a current events thread rather than a deep discussion into something like abortion beliefs.
Do you think that my comments about that article were inciting people to violence? Make that case if you can. It will be interesting to read that spin.
No, I do not think your comments incite violence. If someone were to read them, interpret it in a way that causes them to do violence, that's on them. You seem to believe that violence committed because of something someone said, some how makes them responsible for actions of another.
I do not think narrow minded people should have anything to do with Healthcare. It's seems the Dr involved has reconsidered his position in regards to the 12 year old who was pregnant.
I think suggesting a false equivalent that this somehow equates to cardiology is a ridiculous hyperbole.
I never said anything about my beliefs on abortion. I simply said cardiology has a focus on keeping the heart beating, not stopping it. Do you believe when someone has an abortion that doesn't stop the heart of the fetus?
It's a false equivalent. Strawman if you will.

We're not the ones who want to harm our neighbor. So now your tricky point is moot.
That doesn't make sense. Of course if someone overhears something like that they should report it.

Oh you don't like my post intro huh? hmmmm, now who's the grammar police... Pot Pot Pot
Really? Me mentioning your grammatical error after you mentioned my spelling error makes me the black pot? Or does it make you the black pot because you make an error when pointing out an error? In the same sentence? LOL.

You know Pig-Pen the character from Charlie Brown who has those flies and dirt that are always following him around because he most likely stinks. WEll, it kind of seems like all of these investigations are happening because they think, I don't know, that something just stinks. IDK
Also, the reason these investigations seem so prominent and redundant is the advancement of technology. It's always in our faces so we are bombarded with information, some new some old. Some people miss something and then it's brought up again and again until you're forced to take notice and then there's a wow moment and it's new news again with a different spin. Now, some of this is Legit newsworthy, warrants investigation, indictments even, but because of this conundrum of information, people start to believe there's corruption, a dog and pony show, nothing to see here, etc.
And sometimes there really is something to see here.
Trump wants these investigations to be dinner table conversation. That's how he keeps his cult angry and engaged with inflammatory words and lies. For instance, Mar a Lago wasn't raided, a legal warrant was served. Trump wants his cult to be angry about that legal process and to repeat that inflammatory and incorrect language and so they are angry and they do repeat it.
Yep...Trump is trying desperately to hide behind the weaponized government boogeyman that he and House Republicans are fabricating.

Good if there is something to see then it should been seen in court and after a charge. No charge, nothing to see?

Yeah, I'm still waiting for the second "insurrection" and "domestic terrorism" you all were sure Trump was inciting about his calls to protest..... .......

No, I don't seem to believe that crap... that is your opinion about my beliefs which seems to be disconnected from my actual words in this thread.
Too bad for that 12 year old that the law stands even after the doctor realizes his error, eh? Maybe they were careless and in to much of a hurry with their laws to regulate Healthcare because of their emotions.
It wasn't a false equivalent. It was a question as to which other health care should be so intimately regulated by politicians. Is this it... reproductive health care involving gynecological or obstetrical needs exclusively?
I suggest a review of the terms strawman or false equivalent.
Like I said, if you want to have a discussion about abortion beliefs (mine, yours, or anyone else's), this is not the thread. Ask your heartbeat question in another thread if it's important to you to explore that thought.

So why should anyone be upset about an investigation that is clearly based in evidence that already sent another man to prison? Why the political theater involving patriot moats and congressional inquiries and scorched earth language from Trump and republicans?

Why the past tense? Lots and lots of us are currently concerned that there are still too many people who will act irrationally and violently because they are sufficiently inflamed by Trump's lies. Has something transpired that has changed Trump's tone or the angry agitation of his biggest fans?

The heart beat comment by me was factual with no moral component for or against a abortion. It is factual that when an abortion is performed, if not already present and if fetal demise has not already occurred, it is factual that when the fetus is removed during an abortion, the heart or cardiac activity will cease. I know of no cardiological procedure that strives to stop a heart from beating, do you? So yes, the equivalent is false and ridiculous. Hyperbole.
I wasn't referring to the moral/legal heart beat controversy.
Medical professionals don't always get everything correct. Many times medical Dr has changed their stance on procedures and/or medications. It seem this Dr is realizing the risk to the young 12 year old that he may not have fully considered. Perhaps he should have sooner. So what's your problem? That it took to long? As I can assume you support abortion for any reason when the decision is made between a woman her her health practitioner? So isn't it a good thing that he is reconsidering these implications?
Other medical areas do not concern the end of a potential life. Nor do they demand government funding. Or concern the supreme court ruling. There isn't a Roe vs Cardiology case. That's why other medical procedures are not political. Unless of course you don't include vaccine mandates and gender surgeries.
I form my opinion about you from the things you say in your post. I'm sorry if you think they are not accurate.
