I came across this is little story today, it's not breaking news. I suspect that a member of the housekeeping staff knows something about the bomb threat that required the sweep for weapons.

QuoteAccording to police in Secaucus, the bomb threat — which later was determined to be bogus — was called in to Hudson Regional Hospital on July 18. During a search, bomb detection dogs led investigators to an unlocked office closet containing dozens of firearms.
Among the weapons were 11 handguns and 27 rifles or shotguns, according to police. The closet also contained a .45 caliber semi-automatic rifle with a high-capacity magazine that was determined to be an assault rifle, and a 14-round high-capacity handgun magazine.
The arrested the guy the next day.
What the heck do you think this guy was doing? It sounds very ominous that he was keeping those weapons there.
MaybeeRN said:Maybe because the seething rage and hatred against Trump from the left that started before his inauguration is unprecedented in history. Bragg will end up being Mike Nifong when he gets done with his witch hunt and kangaroo court proceedings.
"Seething rage and hatred" are your words to describe how Americans responded to the elevation of Trump to the highest and most powerful political office in the land. A man who was uniquely and obviously unqualified for the job in a variety of ways. A man well known for lying to and cheating people in his business life, a reality television celebrity. The fellow who lied to you about COVID and election fraud...but you just simplify that into "seething rage and hatred" with no actual relevant context. As if patriots don't have a right to be outraged by Trump's corrupt incompetence and behavior. Nope, it's all just politically motivated "seething rage and hatred"... no nuance or concern for law and order or precedent it anything else... just "seething rage and hatred".
Maybe we are in this predicament because too many conservatives were indoctrinated to accept whatever they were told, regardless of the actual evidence. Maybe it's not seeing rage and hatred from liberals maybe it's gullibility of conservatives who are fed a divisive rather than factual diet in their media?
Isn't this a fun way to discuss the topic?

Do you care that laws about Healthcare are written by narrow minded people who are as objectively ignorant about health and care as that fellow is? Would you rather try to argue about your beliefs about abortion. In think that deserves its own thread if that's what you want. This is more of a current events thread rather than a deep discussion into something like abortion beliefs.
Do you think that my comments about that article were inciting people to violence? Make that case if you can. It will be interesting to read that spin.
So Obamacare and Hillary care that they tried to shove down are throats were written by narrow minded people? Thanks for clarifying that.

So Trump wasn't 35 years old when he ran? Trump isn't a natural born citizen? Trump hasn't lived in the U.S. for 14 years? Apparently you don't understand the Constitution.

Who is surprised?
Today is Tuesday right? Did I miss the news on the indictment he said was happening today?

You tell me, the foundation for the ACA was conceived and structured by the Hertiage Foundation. Here's a discussion of that reality and the way they've tried to distance themselves from Obama's health plan they inspired. Were those conservatives narrow minded when they came up with that idea for health care insurance?
The ACA passed because the majority voted for it... just like the Trump tax giveaway passed.

The antiabortion lobbyist is trying to intimidate the conservative lawmakers? Is intimidation part of the conservative political playbook in the era of Trump? Kind of seems like it. Intimidating poll workers, election officials, witnesses, and even trying to intimidate the republican lawmakers have all been reported in the era of Trump.
That lobbyist's opinion about pregnancy and the complications associated with pregnancy are interesting aren't they? He wrote the law affecting reproductive health related to pregnancy even though he clearly is a dangerous idiot about reproductive health.
Clearly he thinks that his, or any random opinion about fetal viability is relevant and valuable. I wonder if he gets his medical advice from people who simply have opinions about the specialty?
Even the doctor signed onto the poorly thought out law because he is more anti-abortion than he is pro- excellence in reproductive health care. I wonder if he thinks that politics should interfere in other care decisions... like cardiology maybe.
It is always shocking to see how someone so stupid and incurious manages to become a surgeon. Since he's in politics, he was probablyly a wash-out as a surgeon . Off the top of my head, I can't think of a single physician who performed admirably in Congress.
