I came across this is little story today, it's not breaking news. I suspect that a member of the housekeeping staff knows something about the bomb threat that required the sweep for weapons.

QuoteAccording to police in Secaucus, the bomb threat — which later was determined to be bogus — was called in to Hudson Regional Hospital on July 18. During a search, bomb detection dogs led investigators to an unlocked office closet containing dozens of firearms.
Among the weapons were 11 handguns and 27 rifles or shotguns, according to police. The closet also contained a .45 caliber semi-automatic rifle with a high-capacity magazine that was determined to be an assault rifle, and a 14-round high-capacity handgun magazine.
The arrested the guy the next day.
What the heck do you think this guy was doing? It sounds very ominous that he was keeping those weapons there.
Roitrn said:No I do not think violence of any type is okay. Do you?
Do you condem the violence of the 2020 riots? Or nah? You had a hard time condemning the recent anti-police violence in Georga so I highly doubt it.
How about attacks on Pregnacy centre's and threats against Supreme Court justices? Take virtue issue with that? I condem all violence. Including violence against Planned Parenthood because I already know your come back.
Sorry. Perhaps you woukd like it to be only given to certain people? The constitution applied to some, but not all? The right to free speech and the right to protest? Or only that falls under your chosen ideology?
Trump, his supporters, and everyone has the right to both. Even if you don't like them. How totalitarian of you.
None of Trumps comments incite violence and all fall under freedom of speech. So why don't you set out and change the constitution to suite your ideology? Don't take your guns, it may be called an insurrection or domestic terrorism if you do.
Trump has the right to say whatever he wants under the 1st amendment. Even if it causes you emotional upset and gets your feelings bent.
You're talking to a person who thinks it's fine for a 9 year white girl to be beaten up black a black teen because of past injustices.

Yes! "Equal outcome " I believe was the comment.

Yes. Good to have several strap on's I suppose.

Do you know what retribution means?
Who will exact the retribution?
Who will be the recipient of the retribution?
How is justice related to retribution at the hands of protesters?
The crime statistics in NYC are not reflective what the right-winger are cranking about. Yes, crime has risen somewhat, but at no greater rates than any other large city. I think Trump will be very disappointed in the number of protestors who show up in a city that despises him. He can no longer life in his Louis IV golden apartment in the sky. He and his family are right where they have to stay and belong...Floriduh.
MaybeeRN said:Yet they didn't do it at the Capitol? I guess your vision of events don't square with reality.
Yes. They will take any chance to whip out their guns. Except when they are engaged in a insurrection. And committing all this domestic terrorism we hear about but oddly do not actually see? Must have left their guns at home that day?
How about all those fiery but mostly peaceful Trump protesters we saw in 2020.
Woops.

You're right all large blue cities are all the Sholes as third world nations. If you moved from a blue city to Haiti you would improve your standard of living.
toomuchbaloney said:Is hyperbole your only argument here? Is it because you cannot see how reckless and dangerous Trump's call for his angry mob to assemble AGAIN actually is?
Here's the thing... Trump hasn't been notified that he's going to be arrested Tuesday. There's no evidence that's been leaked from the DAs office. Trump is agitating his indoctrinated base.
Please quote the exact word that you feel "calls for violence"? How did he "call his base"?
So is he lying or inciting?
Do you not understand what a call to violence is? It doesn't usually include protest. Because protest is legal and a right under the constitution.
He did not say "riot", "uprise ". He said PROTEST.
As far as the "retribution" partial sentence highlighted by another member, He was referring to the 2020 riots that saw many people not charged or had their bail crowd funded. However, I think it's more in reference to the democrats refusal to condem any violence other than if the "right" did it.

What does "no violence not peace" mean to protesters? What about All Cops are Bastards? Or chants to "fry pigs like bacon"?
He was referring to the lack of retribution of violent rioters.

Perfect. I hope no one shows up either! However, I think many of you really want there to be violence. So you have something to do now that it's not likely he will be charged with anything in regards to the really bad insurrection worse than 911 he incited.

He said "with no retribution". So he is in fact, if you want to twist it the way you do, he says "no retribution". As in no retribution for violent protesters. Not calling FOR retribution. Then you call me hyperbolic?
Nice try. But a perfect example of bias and deception. Next time you want to twist his words, follow the media and only quote his statements partially. Not in their entirety. How embarrassing for you.

Well ... the MAGAbots have deployed and are desperately trying to minimize concerns over potential violence. Now, why would they want to prioritize that?
