I came across this is little story today, it's not breaking news. I suspect that a member of the housekeeping staff knows something about the bomb threat that required the sweep for weapons.
According to police in Secaucus, the bomb threat — which later was determined to be bogus — was called in to Hudson Regional Hospital on July 18. During a search, bomb detection dogs led investigators to an unlocked office closet containing dozens of firearms.
Among the weapons were 11 handguns and 27 rifles or shotguns, according to police. The closet also contained a .45 caliber semi-automatic rifle with a high-capacity magazine that was determined to be an assault rifle, and a 14-round high-capacity handgun magazine.
The arrested the guy the next day.
What the heck do you think this guy was doing? It sounds very ominous that he was keeping those weapons there.

Well then. This changes everything. If true, they(direct TV) IS censoring Newmax. They may be able to legally do it, however they should not.

It's now illegal to teach history in Florida public schools in a way that makes the white kids and their parents uncomfortable. The "stop woke law" initially imposed the same restrictions on colleges and businesses, but those bits are already being challenged in court.

No that is not true. Below is a list of concerns with in the course. It says nothing about making "white parents and kids uncomfortable ". Is this the goal? To make "white kid and their parents" feel bad about what people did that happen to look like them? Some sort of punishment?
Any lesson that uses race to assign oppressed and oppressor, privilege and victim is not about teaching history. And is abhorrent to teach young children.
Not to mention the overt fact that these things have noting to do with African history and more to do with current political agenda. So the name is misleading from the onset.
Children should be taught facts void of political ideology. Yes, even the uncomfortable aspects. I'm sure you wouldn't find many "white patents and kids" who are anything but horrified about that history.
It may not be a check list of CRT but it most definitely contains CRT ideas and the people of Florida have determined that they are not in line with this ideology. This is why DeSantis was elected.

If you read the article you should be able to discern that it is censorship, not Direct TV passing on a bad deal.

There are actually many Black Americans who realize that CRT does not actually help anyone but only causes more race division. DeSamtis gets this and is doing his job which in part is to protect kids from this nonsense. Just exactly how do these people (who think it is good) think this is going to help the black communities. As usual Dems policies do more harm than good for Blacks, teaching Black kids that they are victims only limits their potential. DeSantis is teaching African American studies as it actually happened AKA History!
And of course you are correct that you won't find that info on the left wing/main stream news.

I am sure you realize that the military has other options to take down a spy balloon other than the mother of all bombs. What we need is a President who understands that the Communist Chinese spying on the US is a very bad idea. It shouldn't be rocket science for him.
You know about satellites, right? Should we them take out, too?
I am sure the President consulted with the military, including actual rocket scientists, about the safest way to proceed.
