I came across this is little story today, it's not breaking news. I suspect that a member of the housekeeping staff knows something about the bomb threat that required the sweep for weapons.
According to police in Secaucus, the bomb threat — which later was determined to be bogus — was called in to Hudson Regional Hospital on July 18. During a search, bomb detection dogs led investigators to an unlocked office closet containing dozens of firearms.
Among the weapons were 11 handguns and 27 rifles or shotguns, according to police. The closet also contained a .45 caliber semi-automatic rifle with a high-capacity magazine that was determined to be an assault rifle, and a 14-round high-capacity handgun magazine.
The arrested the guy the next day.
What the heck do you think this guy was doing? It sounds very ominous that he was keeping those weapons there.
But it’s so much easier to blame Secretary Buttigeig than to examine a corporation.

Two things stand out to me in this ongoing story... first, the reality that the likely next speaker of the house is so politically weak that he cannot speak out against a lying grifter because he needs that liars vote. That foretells the corruption that will be ignored as McCarthy struggles to build ANY manner of republican consensus.
Second, this fellow Santos seems to think that his choices to lie and cheat are "mistakes" or him "messing up".

Moments earlier, an Instacart delivery driver had alerted a store employee after seeing Mr. Marley in the bathroom, along with the AR-15-style rifle, which was propped against a wall. A grand jury indictment later described what had come next: “panic, terror and the evacuation of the Publix.”
Mr. Marley, then 22, was arrested without incident that day in March 2021. His lawyer, Charles Brant, noted that he had not made any threats or fired any shots, and had legally purchased his guns. Mr. Marley did not violate Georgia law, Mr. Brant said; he was “just being a person, doing what he had the right to do.”
I don't know how I missed this; the NYT article was published this morning, but this happened nearly 2 years ago.
Apparently he openly carried the rifle when he entered the store, when he was reported to store security "clicking sounds" where heard coming from a stall in the restroom.
While I support responsable gun ownership, I can't see any reason, other than creating panic, that someone would do something like this.

Are you disappointed? Probably. An actual nurse might be embarrassed to present such a delusional pov to the general public but shame and embarrassment aren't something experienced by people while they are still indoctrinated... that comes after they've come to their senses and realized that they were fooled. Although Trump and his sycophants definitely try to use shame to keep their support loyal to Trump and his ideas for his return to power... Trump thinks up names to call them when the generic RINO seems insufficient.
