I completed A & P I and II and Micro a few years ago and will be attending nursing school this Fall. I am in the process of reviewing my A & P books and notes and was wondering what specific areas of study you would recommend I focus on in these next few months to prepare for what lies ahead in nursing school. Thanks in advance.

Electrolyte/fluid imbalances....BIG section and if you had a hard time in A&P then get help ASAP or you will get behind QUICKLY..., acid/base, organs and their function...endocrine...Good luck to ya! :)
Thanks so much for the input! Which Organ Systems should I focus on specifically? Also, are there any other books I should be reading before starting school? My school is known for being a hard school and has a lot of clinical hours compared to most other nursing schools. Would you recommend I buy an NCLEX manual and start studying that now? Any other books I should read in the next couple months? I start school in two months!!

Electrolytes and cardiac are big ones in my program
Let me re-phrase that first question about systems. Should I focus my attention on Cardio, Lymphatic, Respiratory, Digestive, Urinary, and Repro. (and Endocrine) since I don't have a lot of time for in-depth review? Which specific Organ systems should I spend most of my time in review? Thanks again!

A review of the hepatic and renal systems would be helpful for pharmacology.
