I take mine thursday too. i dont plan on studying much at ALL tomorrow. maybe just look over my flash cards briefly (lab values, things like that)....I'm going to try to relax as much as i can. maybe watch a funny show or movie. paint my nails.Good luck to you! Hope we both pass. :)
GOOD! I'm glad to hear that there are other people who are taking a break as well. Best of luck to you! We WILL be nurses by the end of the week!
On the advice of my Kaplan instructor, I took the day off before the exam. The whole day, I worried that maybe I should be studying. What if I forget??? What if I should review "just one more time"? Well, I can happily say that the day off was well worth it. It gave my brain a much needed break. On the day of the exam, I was surprisingly calm. Usually, I'm nervous & on edge. I passed the exam in 77 questions :)
So, do your brain a favor and take the day off. Let it process all the stuff you've learning.
Best of luck on your exam!
I'm also taking NCLEX 7/16! I am still doing practice questions today.. I just can't help myself. I've done over 6000 in the past 6 months so they don't even phase me anymore..! I feel ready, but still have the thought in the back of my mind "WHAT IF I FAIL?". Anyone else..?
I wish I could smack you right now! ðŸ˜
STOP doing the freaking questions! There is no prize for a perfect score. Pass and run with it. I did about 3000 before the real thing and never scored above 70% on any practice set. Most of my scores were in the 60s actually. I watched 2 trashy movies the day before the test, no questions.
I passed with 75. Done! 🙌

I am taking my NCLEX on thursday July 16th. I have planned some relaxing/distracting activities for tomorrow but I am wondering if its wise to not study at all the day before the test. When it came to nursing school I would study up until the hour of the test. Because the NCLEX is over soooooo many things I can understand how it might be counterproductive to stress yourself out by continually studying. I just need some advice! Please help!
