I am taking my NCLEX on thursday July 16th. I have planned some relaxing/distracting activities for tomorrow but I am wondering if its wise to not study at all the day before the test. When it came to nursing school I would study up until the hour of the test. Because the NCLEX is over soooooo many things I can understand how it might be counterproductive to stress yourself out by continually studying. I just need some advice! Please help!
I went 265 questions. I feel like I knew nothing.. So many meds I've never heard of :'(
I went to 265 too!! I got 37 SATA and 4 math questions. There were so many meds I was not sure about. But I keep telling myself that since we made it to 265 that means that we were hovering around d the passing line. I just hope we ended up on the passing side! Praying for you and your nerves!!
That is my hope also. I felt so good up to the 75 and was sure it was going to shut off for me, I was getting a lot of select all. I couldn't believe when I came to the break how many questions I'd done. I've never even heard of half the stuff that was coming up! I felt so ready for this too. I tried the pearson vue trick and have been getting "the good pop up" but that isn't helping my nerves at all.. But from what I've been reading it definitely is possible to pass at 265 so i'm going to cling to that hope!
This helped me when I took my boards so here go. If you have children see if a family member is willing to let them sleep over. The more quiet time you have the better to relax your mind. Go to a inexpensive spa or allied health school and get a massage. I did not study 24hrs before the exam. Walk for a 1/2 hour. Find a funny movie to watch the night before. The day of: Eat a light good breakfast. Meditate 5 mins before entering the test site. God Speed!!
