Anyone excited about your RN life ahead?
I felt exactly the same way you did before I started working in August. The money alone isn't worth the responsibility, and doesn't make up for the stress. I thought for sure it would.. seeing as I'm making double what I've ever made, and I only work three days a week. I need those four days off to mentally recover, and muster up the courage to go back. I hope nursing works out better for you than it has me so far.

Finished with 265... Is that bad?
I went up to 265 today too! I felt good getting close to that 75, sure that it would shut off but it never did.

That is my hope also. I felt so good up to the 75 and was sure it was going to shut off for me, I was getting a lot of select all. I couldn't believe when I came to the break how many questions I'd done. I've never even heard of half the stuff that was coming up! I felt so ready for this too. I tried the pearson vue trick and have been getting "the good pop up" but that isn't helping my nerves at all.. But from what I've been reading it definitely is possible to pass at 265 so i'm going to cling to that hope!

I'm also taking NCLEX 7/16! I am still doing practice questions today.. I just can't help myself. I've done over 6000 in the past 6 months so they don't even phase me anymore..! I feel ready, but still have the thought in the back of my mind "WHAT IF I FAIL?". Anyone else..?

Applying to 'no experience necessary' jobs and being rejected for lack of experience?
I have a friend here in PA that got a $20,000 sign on bonus in 2010 for a 3 year commitment right out of a 4 year bsn program.
