Western University of Health Science MSN Entry Level 2016

Hello all,

Who else is applying to the MSN Entry level 2016? I've decided to create this thread as I have not seen any new threads for 2016 start date.

Has anyone from February 11th's EAOD heard anything back yet?

Not yet. I'm trying to wait until next week before the incessant refreshing of the email inbox begins.

Hope that they give us answers before the next EAOD! I haven't been able to stop checking my inbox lol!

I think there were about 20 at EAOD on the 11th.

To answer your question, the other program I have interviewed at is Cal State LA for their ABSN program. It's significantly closer to me, much less expensive, and highly ranked so it's definitely my first choice. Though Western seems really great too and my friend LOVED it.

I'm excited for tomorrow! Hope to see many of you there!

That's great news! Good luck with it. I didn't apply to CSULA because I was missing one of their courses, but it would've been a great alternative school for me as well - cost wise and location. Either way, I'm becoming happier each day with the knowledge that I'll be attending Western in a few months. Right now, I'm just trying to get over the laziness of getting all my student forms in. There's so much coming at me in all directions, and I don't know where to start! All I know is how excited I am! :)

Are any of you considering applying for the post-masters FNP after this program? I'm trying to decide if I should go the post-masters certificate or a RN-MSN for NP route.

I have an interview on Feb 25th! But as I understand chances are very low for those with regular interviews =/. I wonder what the stats are.

I was reading up and obsessing. However, I did see in past years that some EAOD offers had been made within a week of visiting the campus for the event. Not sure if that will happen with us but I am hopeful lol!

I did EAOD on the 11th but will not be accepting the offer because I just found out I got into UCLA. So thats one more spot open for interviewers! I'm sure there may be more depending on where people get in and what they want. Keep your head up!
