Yes I applied. My track is weird I'm doing a MSN-NP program for non nursing majors. The board for the scholarship said it was 3rd preference but not sure they know what they are talking about.

Hope so.. I havent really done anything with the department of health lol

Inquiry was the Department of Health. I dont recall the date sometime but it was showing last week? I have others on there as well for my Graduate Loans but they show differently.

I had an inquiry. But I am in the 3rd preference.. So not sure why.. I wasnt planning to hold my breath because I am in a MSN program.

Too early to be stressed! Give your worries to the creator and enjoy the summer weather or something you enjoy doing. Life's too short to be hung up on possibilities before they occur. I am counting on blessings that you receive this scholarship!

It was for this year, it was pretty active as well.. Quite a few people that posted in it weekly it seemed. I applied, but I dont know if I will get it as Graduate RN programs fall into the 3rd preference and they did not disclose that in the application. I am still hopeful!

Just so you guys know looks like this is the last date to forfeit your seat if you've accepted: Orientation dates, Welcome Week/Orientation for the College of Graduate Nursing is August 3rd – 6th , 2016. You do not need to be here on the 1st and 2nd. Welcome Week is a great way to meet your fellow classmates, Faculty, the Dean, the CGN Staff and tour the University. Please remember that Welcome Week is Mandatory and if you are not in attendance you will forfeit your seat in the program.

Oh im sure that will happen! lol... The cost alone is sticker shock for many. However, my argument is that its similar to other programs that are comparable. I am also doing funding through programs that give service commitment. Hopefully, that occurs, and one less burden to worry about!

Did anyone hear any good news yet? A lot of us are still getting financial portion squared away.. I am sure there will some people who cant make it work.. Keep hanging on!

Don't feel discouraged! Even being accepted we still have had like 0 communication. Mostly just a link and a task list to do but nothing else! Keep your hopes up and hope you guys get in!

Hey there guys! I am applying for this scholarship as well.. I was accepted into a MSN-Direct Entry Program. Not sure what tier that is as it meets the requirements for the first. I hold AA- Direct Transfer, BSW with a Minor in Psychology. I was accepted to Western University in Pomona, CA the programs 3 years but only 1 year to get an RN. 3.99 GPA 0 EFC Medical Experience in pretty much every aspect of health care, emphasis in ER and critical access hospitals. I have also done work in the community to build positive parenting, establishing programs for foster youth, and working with not for profit program Head Start from tribal enrolled members. My story is much like others, I have no real way to pay for Grad School.. they only offer the small amount in loans and the rest is on your own..

CSUSM requires more chemistry, does Concordia as well? Where is that located
