I didn't see a thread, so I started one.

I am planning on applying this fall for the Direct Entry MSN program. Anyone else?

For those who have been accepted, have they given you any information on whether or not they have decided to change the program's FNP structure?

@L124 No they haven't, we have only received information on all the required forms and stuff before registration

Don't get discourage. I know how you feel, I just got rejected from all the schools I applied too. Hey, like everyone else said, maybe there are just other plans out there for you and better schools! I really do hope we can all get accepted into the program! Hopefully, Western will give us more good news soon! I am looking into MCPHS- the deadline for this nursing program is june 1st.

May I ask what school you got accepted too? I am trying to look into other schools, I know most of the deadlines are past but would love to keep my options open for next year...

I got accepted into Cal State LA's entry level masters program. It's the same type of program as Western.... 16 months of full time schooling/clinicals before taking the NCLEX, then the masters portion can be completed while working as a nurse. I'd recommend looking into it, there are several different NP tracks available. Good luck!

Massachusetts college of pharmacy and health sciences, they have an accelerated nursing program.

I received an acceptance email today around 3pm. I'm so happy- I literally jumped away from my desk at work and screamed! Really hoping you guys will get some good news as well!!!

Thanks you guys! The acceptance form and deposit have to be turned in by April 22.
