Hey Ceci81, which area are you looking at to rent your place or are you from California? I am looking at apartments and it's all so expensive. I don't even know where to start.

Thanks for calling! If you guys don't want to wait a year, you should look into Creighton University. It's an accelerated program (1 year for a BSN). It's in Nebraska but they have openings for the Jan. 2014 class, no deadline, rolling basis.

thanks for the updated information. Maybe I just don't have the best of lucks when it comes to contacting the people in the admissions office. I email them and no one email me back. I'm glad someone gave you an answer and now we are updated. I've been checking my email like crazy, I guess now I can stop.

ALXiong, Thanks for the advise and sharing your story with us. May I ask what programs you applied too? I want to look into more masters program. My grandfather always had this saying -“There are many paths to the top of the mountain, but the view is always the same.” Like ALXiong said if t's out dream a RN or NP, will make it...its just a matter of taking a different path =)

cp0710, don't be discourage, I know you will get in somewhere. However, if its something you really want, you might have to retake your classes. I am currently in the process of retaking classes. I retook a&p and chemistry last term. Now, I just have one C but that doesn't seem to matter, I have A's and B's in the rest of my pre-req, and a lot of schools don't care if you have experience in the health field, which is also a bummer. I hope you hear good news from some other schools soon, so you don't have to retake classes

cp07710, Try looking into Clark Community College, it's in Vancouver, WA. They are starting to admit students 3 times a year, I think application is due june 15, sept. 15th & feb. 15th? You can check out their website- Nursing

Are you looking for schools within the Northwest area? Have you look into associate programs? I know that's ideal because that would be 2 years than another for year just for the BSN.

Hey cp0710, I just went back to re-read some of the threads, I haven't been on for awhile up until I think couple days ago? But you should look into MCPHS-Massachusetts college of pharmacy and health sciences? they required gpa is 2.70-4.00, it's an accelerated program and application are on a rolling basis, I am in the process of applying, there are 16 seats available in the worcester campus and 25 seats available for the manchester campus. classes start Aug. 2013, its 16 months and you get tour BSN.

I am also from Oregon and is currently looking into MCPHS but is debating between which campus I want to apply for.
