I'll be graduating from LVN school in November and want to go on to an LVN-RN program. I haven't done any RN pre-requisites and, at age 50, don't want to take the time to do so... so I'm looking for a program with "built in" pre-reqs. I'm curious about West Coast University but can't find much info about it. Please tell me what you know about it... thanks!
term 6 is really a struggle and I figure term 7 and the rest. I just hope and pray that I will pass this term..So far, my grades aren't as good as I am used to. but I am passing. haaaayy!!! this is one that I am trying to get used to but 10 weeks is really fast. as soon as you get use to one term you are starting a new term. I need to catch up with my pace. Ms jocson is really trying to change all mr santiago's left overs. I guess his craps are really a crap. Now we are really using the smeltzer which is better than the saunders. and so I have heard. I JUST HOPE AND REALLY HOPING TO PASS THE HESI. LEADERSHIP IS ANOTHER THING. WE WERE NOT GIVEN A PASSWORD FOR THE ATI TILL 7TH WEEK... YIKES. I guess mr santiago forgot.. anyway, we are trying our BEST OF THE BESTEST!!!
Hello, i'm relatively new to this and this is my first post. I am a new grad LVN, just got my license (whoo hoo) and i'm looking for an RN school. i was wondering if there are any WCU graduates here? i would like to know if it was hard to find a good hospital to work at after, because my fourth term teacher during VN school said WCU wasn't accredited. Is this true? i'm really considering going to WCU, as its close to home and i graduated from the VN program at their sister school ACC. I've heard alot of good things and bad things about it. Can somebody help me out? i really want to work L&D after i get my RN. and are WCU units transferrable? Like, if i got my ASN there, would i be able to get my BSN somewhere else? thank you for taking the time to read this =]
i passed, I PASSED. term 7 baby.. i heard it is tougher.. pray I will make it. :) thanks for your support IHEARTNURSING.

Yay Kithzeez! gosh sorry i havent been on for awhile! been busy with work! anyways! term 7 IS THE BUSIEST AND CRAZIEST TERM of ALL TERMS, but time will definitely fly by fast, before you know it, term 8 is here! ur almost there, sooo keep up the great work you are doing!
Goodluck on TERM 7! it was definitely a quick 10 week!
PS. After reading the previous threads about WCU, seems like alot of people are finding out the real dirt on the WCU system. But in the end though, no matter how stress WCU made us, getting that RN license, took away all my frustrations with WCU! now my next frustration is finding a BSN program that wont hurt me financially again! im still paying loans, hehehhe! but sooo far UOP is a possibility for the BSN!
