West Coast University?

Published

I'll be graduating from LVN school in November and want to go on to an LVN-RN program. I haven't done any RN pre-requisites and, at age 50, don't want to take the time to do so... so I'm looking for a program with "built in" pre-reqs. I'm curious about West Coast University but can't find much info about it. Please tell me what you know about it... thanks!

Hello everyboty!

I'm an ADN student at WCU. They accepted my prereqs from other country (should be within 5 years), I had to take only English, Speech, & Biochem. My tuition droped to $55k. Still a lot, but no waiting list :). One of the instructors told me that WCU closes LVN to RN program at all 3 campuses in November.

How long is it gonna take you to finish? they only gave you $12000 for all those prereqs? how do they calculat the amount of money that they are gonna give you???

Thanks!;)

I had my first meeting this afternoon at the Anaheim campus. I knew the cost was high, but my rep made it sound do-able...we'll see how do-able it is come next Thursday. I took the HESI and passed with flying colors. They're looking to start me into the November 10th class. Still debating whether or not I wanna go thru with this though.

I will take the test. How did you study for it? Any adivce?

Thanks,

Hi everyone!

I am going to take my Hesi entrance exam at the Ontario location tomorrow. After reading what some of you have posted up as to what are on the test, I feel much more confident about it. I am currently enrolled in a junior college, and have only taken BIO for the science pre-reqs. English, Soc, and others have been completed as well. Now, I am not sure what is the next step for me after I pass the Hesi exam. When should I transfer my units, or talk to a Financial Advisor? Please give me advice and tips which I really appreciate!
