West Coast University?

Published

I'll be graduating from LVN school in November and want to go on to an LVN-RN program. I haven't done any RN pre-requisites and, at age 50, don't want to take the time to do so... so I'm looking for a program with "built in" pre-reqs. I'm curious about West Coast University but can't find much info about it. Please tell me what you know about it... thanks!

Does anyone know if west coast university provides child care?

Does anyone know if west coast university provides child care?

no childcare is provided.

Hi,

after reading all 27 pages of the responses ! O_O

i have 2 questions...

like others mentioned but weren't answered,

how does it go about wcu accepting pre req's that were retaken because you got a D or F. Do you have to retake it at WCU, is there any other way of getting out ?

and

i wont be able to get a loan approval due to some issues so if i did a month to month pay, what would the average monthly payment be for the bsn program...??

TiA!!

Tia,

1) if you received D's or F's - those aren't passing, so I don't think that would be "credited" for your prereqs. You will have to take them over either here at WCU or at your JC or University (to transfer over)

2) try looking up loan calculators online to calculate your payment. It really depends on your rate and duration of payment.

Here are a couple that can help you. http://www.bankrate.com/calculators/mortgages/loan-calculator.aspx

thanks for your response.

i couldnt wait so i went to wcu , anaheim today in the morning. i got to speak with one of the admissions rep and she told me that as long as you have retaken the needed class and have passed, they will take it as transfer credit.

i was wondering about this because when i read previous pages, ive seen some response that they had to take classes at wcu again even though they passed a certain class 2nd time around.

Okay so I passed my HESI exam and got enrolled to start the BSN program august 31st.

I'm trying to figure out the whole financial aid thing, I know this might be personal but I was wondering which lenders you guys picked out and which ones actually approved you??

I'm considering Wells Fargo.....seems pretty decent....

Anyways any advice will be greatly appreciated.

for those who have taken the hesi for ADN, was the a&p part hard? im kinda lazy to study right now and im scheduled for the test tomorrow. any advice? TIA

hi wannabenars,

as for the a&p, its pretty easy, basic stuff. especially if you have experience in the medical field or know medical terminology already.... however i dont suggest that you dismiss the study guide they gave you to practice, (not a good foot to start on).
