Welcome To The NCLEX September Support Group

Hey Future RN's & LPN's,

I haven't seen a group established for us!!! I wish everyone much success on their exam! For me I will be taking it for a 2nd time!! Please leave prayers, advice and words of encouragement to everyone in this group!:heartbeat

Greedy, it is hard to tell which ones to study, but you should know your antibiotics and your sartans for sure! I saw a lot of heart meds on my test, but that is not to say that this is what you will encounter. So maybe check over lidocaine etc as well.

I am crossing my fingers right now for those that are likely already testing at this moment and cant wait to hear back from you all when I return tonight!

Thank You Susanne I will go over those today. The heart stuff seems to be alot in Kaplan too thats what I am using to study I think im going to stick with Questions for the next two weeks along with lab values and meds Hope that will be good

Good luck to all testing today I wish you all calmness and clear thinking :yeah::typing

AHHHHH I take boards tomorrow!! I'm going to take a couple quick quizzes and read over a few of my drug notes and then sit in the fetal position and rock... and cry!! HAHA, I hope it does not get that bad. I am kind of excitd to (hopefully) be done studying! I just want to be excited and tell everyone that I'm an RN! Hope all goes well. My wait time for my results shouldn't be that bad because I work two twelves on thursday and friday. I'm thinking that I will check my results at lunch on Friday. Hope I will be able to tell everyone that I'm an RN!!!

:D:up::):clown::typing

Callie: Do not do any quizzes today, you will confuse yourself. It is proven that your eyes move faster across information the day prior to an exam, which means that you will not truly take in the information that you see. Check your labs and read over some light material and then shut that book no later than noon....THIS IS AN ORDER.

LOL. Good luck to you!!!

ugh, back, feeling sick to my stomach. i literally don't know what to do with myself until it says "delilvery successful" on pearson vue. i'm considering going to the beach just so that i physically cannot access a computer.

it turned off very early, i immediately started tearing up and i cried the whole way home. i really do not have a good feeling about this.

i will post later with some tidbits about my exam for people testing tomorrow/soon... but right now i am too jumpy to even sit here and type.

OHhhhh :icon_hug::flowersfo:flwrhrts: Hugs to you I am praying for you that all will be well The beach is a good idea to clear the mind Hang in there ..

Low calcium level makes a person weak and causes numbness in the hands or feet. It can cause confusion or seizures. High calcium levels can be worse, it can cause coma and death.

Oh in the middle:

I think we all feel that way when we get back. I am positive you did fine and you will have good news to report. It takes about two hours for it to pop up. Soon you know!!

Thank you SO MUCH to the wonderful people of this September support group-- I really didn't tell anyone but my parents that I had to take it again, and I am so glad that I had a place to come, vent, and talk to people going through the same thing as me. It really means so much to me.

Lots of love,

Sarah RN, BSN

Oh boy.. I was up till 5am reading stuff on here & now I'm questioning if I should take my PN boards next Monday or reschedule. I payed $70. for the on line NCSBN program & we were told that was the BEST way to pass our boards by the administrator of our LPN program but I found it not only boring but not very user friendly. It expired on the 13th of this month so I stayed up that night & took the last 280 questions & actually did very good but after hearing about this "Exam Cram" I am going to Borders & getting it to see what it tells me. If I'm not at the "passing" level then I'm going to reschedule my test since I am already working with my temp. license here in Pa & I can't afford to NOT PASS!

I think panic mode just set in.. The one good thing is that I am off for 3 days straight before I take the exam so I am hoping that will give me enough time to catch up on any weaknesses that "exam cram" will show.

Does anyone else feel that they wasted their money on the NCSBN PN program?

Just curious...

Thanks to everyone in our group!

Best of luck to all that are taking the boards this month & Congratulations to those that have taken them & passed.

Hugs, B
