Welcome To The NCLEX September Support Group

Published

Hey Future RN's & LPN's,

I haven't seen a group established for us!!! I wish everyone much success on their exam! For me I will be taking it for a 2nd time!! Please leave prayers, advice and words of encouragement to everyone in this group!:heartbeat

I too am going against the NCLEX beast tomorrow! I've been studying like crazy since I graduated nursing school in early August and now it call comes down to my performance tomorrow! Everyone thinks that just because I graduated valedictorian of my class that I'll have no problem tomorrow. I always say that 75% of NCLEX is about knowledge and critical thinking skills, but 25% of the test is about having good test-taking skills. I hope I keep that in mind tomorrow! Good luck to us all!

Do not do questions today Jowhanna. You need your brain to give a rest.

Ok Susanne, ill try not to do the test questions. maybe ur right ill just preserve everything tom so i wouldnt be too exhausted. Thank u so much! I still have the mixed emotions right now, Aint sure if this is excitement or nervousness but all I know is that this is it and i should DO my best!

congrats aleena!!

i'm almost done with qt7, and it's really frustrating me!! some of these questions seem so bizarre.. i've never even heard of a "dry birth" before! and there's a question about cholesterol maintenance.. the client's total cholesterol level was 200, which kaplan said necessitated diet management. i thought total cholesterol level was 200 and under. apparently it's 199??? ugh, hoping the nclex doesn't choose to use "unexpected" values that are so close to the actual target.

ok venting done-- back to questions and my med chart.

DoDo, we will be so happy when you get back tomorrow and tell us that you passed!

CPLPN: I think if you studied hard it will pay off and you too will tomorrow be able to relax and sit back!!!

Jhowanna: You got this and you need your brain to rest. Just read over your lab values and some meds and then close the books. Do something relaxing tonight, dinner with your Bf or Hubby or someone you care about. Warm bubble bath so you can sleep good, and just enjoy your ride tomorrow!!! It will be so awesome when you come back and say...I am too...a RN!!!

praying for all you testing tomorrow!! you can do it!! stay composed and relax. one question at a time!! take your time! you can do it!!

Thanks for the help

Gretch

Greedy, it is hard to tell which ones to study, but you should know your antibiotics and your sartans for sure! I saw a lot of heart meds on my test, but that is not to say that this is what you will encounter. So maybe check over lidocaine etc as well.

I am crossing my fingers right now for those that are likely already testing at this moment and cant wait to hear back from you all when I return tonight!
