Hey Future RN's & LPN's,
I haven't seen a group established for us!!! I wish everyone much success on their exam! For me I will be taking it for a 2nd time!! Please leave prayers, advice and words of encouragement to everyone in this group!:heartbeat
Dont feel guilty it is normal to get those right before your test and you will do great. BTW I just found out through quick results that I am indeed a RN now....I passed!!!!!:prdnrs:Susanne N. Collins RN,BSN
Congrats!! :nurse:I had no doubts! Feels good huh? :) Celebrate this weekend! All your hard work paid off!
Ujones and everyone else testing soon---you can do it!! Hang in there! Positive thinking, relaxation, soon your time will come and you will soon be celebrating!
still trying to study here in missouri. I will test on Wed. and I'm really starting to feel anxious. Been working on questions and reading drugs/material. Just want it to be overwith and be able to say I'm actually and RN. Good luck to everyone studying over the weekend (mine will be a packed two days of stuyding!). Congrats to all of those who just found out they passed:yeah::yeah:
Here is one piece of advise:
They told me to read the tutoral and I am glad I did. I think that the time it took me to read my tutorial allowed me to gather my thoughts and calm my heart down. Also, before I walked into that center I decided that this is not a dreadful day for me, rather that this is the day for me to shine to have my platform and show them what I can do and how much I have learned. The person who greeted me in there told me that he knows already ( which he did not at the time) that I would pass, because he said he could feel the confidense. When I answered the questions I did not double guess myself. Do not change your answers. Sometimes my gut would sink, because I thought oh my not sure if that is the right answer and I felt like changing my answers, but I learned from past exerience that this is a big no no. Dont go against your instinct. You all can do this!!!

I totally agree. Even when I was still reviewing for the NCLEX by answering the practice tests (on Saunders and on NCLEX-RN 3500), I found that the first answer that I chose would most often be the correct one. But every time I double guessed myself and changed my first answer to another one, I'd get it wrong. So just follow your instinct!
Haha, the tutorial helped a lot to ease my anxiety because it cracked me up. :chuckle Like the "choose the fruits" one. LOL.
Thanks, thanks. Yea, we can do this ujones, in.the.middle. Ok, I just finished answering the QT7 gosh! it's so hard and took me 5.5 hrs i got 61% good coz i reached the 60% quota. I feel so tired but i will still read the rationales and read my book tonight. Tomorrow I will have my Readiness test on my kaplan live class Im hoping that will get good grades too. This week has really been good in regards with my grades even if im having bad days! I am so thankful to all my new friends here coz I will not be able to have energy everyday if not becoz of you. That's GREAT!!! You are going to do awesome on Tuesdsay, I can feel it!! Did you do the other QTs?? I am working on them now.. finished with QT1-5, doing QT6 tomorrow and QT7 on Sunday. Is 60% recommended for all of the QTs or just 6 & 7? And, I feel ya on the 5.5 hr thing... those suckers are time consuming.
But no time like the present to be getting reassuring scores on things! Let's keep the momentum going through the end of our tests on Tuesday!
