I did not see any thread on February 2011 support group, so I decided to form a forum for us to share our view, plan and how to pass for the test. As we all prayer for each other to continue with this journey I wish everyone who is taking NCLEX-RN and NCLEX-LVN/LPN.
Join the excellent group!
Good luck to everybody testing in February.
Here is the plan and we have a 1+month.
Here is my plan finishing the Saunders CD (fourth edition)
Do the Exam cram CD (1000 questions)
Do the NCLEX 3500 and with all the prayers to pass this NCLEX.
"Holy Spirit,
Thou make me see everything
and show me the way to reach my ideal.
You who will give the divine gift
to forgive and forget the wrong that is done to me
and who are in all instances of my life with me.
I, in this short dialogue, want to thank You for everything
and confirm once more that I never want to be separated from You
no matter how great the material desire may be.
I want to be with You and my loved ones in Your perpetual glory, Amen God please help us all.
So come on board all futures RN's and LVN's let's rock this NCLEX together.
hi everyone i'm new here and i hope i can get along with you guys particularly on NCLEX...
since last week, there's a part of me that i want to see those people who just took the exams, how did they do it and everything....
i want to share some of my routines on my study..
im taking KAPLAN and i just attend their class last december..u know holiday just took me at the end to hold my review but still i've got my mentality on the review..and by this month i refreshed everything just to get out of my system.
i was making a schedule since the first week of january that each day, each category and i'll answer 200 items/category on the qbank and qtrainer and i'm still doing that..8-9 hours of sitting and watching and listening and answering..
about the QBANKS...my first attempt on each category,i got 50%.2nd tme,70,3rd time, 75, and 4th time 80...not just the questions would go over and over it's because i wrote down every right and wrong answers.
for the qtrainer i just did that last week and my QT1 was 40 and did it on the 2nd time i got 80...on QT@2 still the same 40 and 80..
i pray to GOD everytime that everything is going to be great and he knows that all of us will pass...
by the way, i'm also taking my exam this mid-week of FEB..so goodluck to us..

Goodluck to the both of us. I will also take my NCLEX on mid-february. Thank you for sharing your study habits! :)
I will take mine in Feb as well. I have the Kaplan NCLEX for 2010- 2011 and will have the Kaplan NCLEX for 2011-2012 on 2/03/2011. I also have the Prentice Hall NCLEX RN (the big red book) and find it helpful for medications and the tear out nursing notes in the front. Praying to GOD that i am doing enough and understand the material well enough! :hpygrp:

I am also taking the Kaplan course, and will be taking my readiness exam tomorrow before class. I am worried that I will not score high enough, and I don't want to have to move my test date which I have set for Feb. 11. My Question Trainer scores aren't too good, and they worry me.
QT1-57%
QT2-59%
QT3-50%
QT4-56%
I have also been doing Qbank questions and have completed 51% of the questions and I am averaging 54%.
I am concerned because they say that we should be in the 65% range and I am far from that. I have read other threads that say don't worry about the scores, but I do. Anyone take Kaplan and NCLEX-RN and can give any advice?
