I did not see any thread on February 2011 support group, so I decided to form a forum for us to share our view, plan and how to pass for the test. As we all prayer for each other to continue with this journey I wish everyone who is taking NCLEX-RN and NCLEX-LVN/LPN.
Join the excellent group!
Good luck to everybody testing in February.
Here is the plan and we have a 1+month.
Here is my plan finishing the Saunders CD (fourth edition)
Do the Exam cram CD (1000 questions)
Do the NCLEX 3500 and with all the prayers to pass this NCLEX.
"Holy Spirit,
Thou make me see everything
and show me the way to reach my ideal.
You who will give the divine gift
to forgive and forget the wrong that is done to me
and who are in all instances of my life with me.
I, in this short dialogue, want to thank You for everything
and confirm once more that I never want to be separated from You
no matter how great the material desire may be.
I want to be with You and my loved ones in Your perpetual glory, Amen God please help us all.
So come on board all futures RN's and LVN's let's rock this NCLEX together.
Hi guys! I too am planning on taking NCLEX-RN on the 2nd week of February. I used the NCSBN review and I am currently answering La Charity. I really don't know if I am ready because I once read a post that I should be able to score like 60-70% on the La Charity book, but the thing is my scores range from 50-60% on the La Charity book. Any suggestions guys? It would be greatly appreciated. I don't want to fail again. :)
To Gold2010:
Hi all. I hope this isn't terribly inappropriate, but I didn't know of another way to contact/help this person.
Gold2010 -- I recieved your message and unfortunately I am unable to send private messages yet. I would love to help you set up a study plan if you can think of another way we can contact eachother. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks
1st week of Feb
Good luck every one!!! A little prayer to Saint Jude wouldnt hurt =)
PRAYERS FOR SPECIAL INTENTIONS
"St. Jude, glorious apostle, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the name of the person (who betrayed our Lord) has caused you to be forgotten by many, but the true Church invokes you universally as the Patron of things despaired of. Pray for me, who is so miserable; pray for me, that I may finally receive the consolations and the succour of Heaven in all my necessities, tribulations, and sufferings, particularly (ADD YOUR PERSONAL REQUEST HERE), and that I may bless God with the Elect Throughout Eternity."
"May the Sacred Heart of Jesus be Adored, Glorified, Loved & Preserved throughout the world, now & forever. Sacred Heart of Jesus, please pray for me. Saint Jude, Worker of Miracles, please pray for me. Saint Jude, Helper of the Hopeless, please pray for me. Amen."
"O most holy apostle, St. Jude, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, people honor and invoke you universally, as the patron of hopeless cases, of things almost despaired of. Pray for me, for I am so helpless and alone. Please help to bring me visible and speedy assistance. Come to my assistance in this great need that I may receive the consolation and help of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations, and sufferings, particularly (state your request) and that I may praise God with you always."
"I promise, O blessed St. Jude, to be ever mindful of this great favor, to always honor you as my special and powerful patron, and to gratefully encourage devotion to you by publishing this request. Amen."
"Holy Saint Jude, Apostle and Martyr, Great in virtue and rich in miracles, Near kinsman of Jesus Christ, Faithful intercessor of all Who invoke your special patronage in time of need. To you I have recourse from the depths of my heart And humbly beg to whom God has given such great power To come to my assistance. Help me in my present and urgent petition, In return I promise to make your name known And cause you to be invoked. Saint Jude pray for me and all those who invoke your aid. Amen."

Hey all.. Im set to take my NCLEX-RN on Feb the 15th. Im nervous and really need to crack down and get on the ball. I took the classroom Kaplan course and got a 68 on the readiness test. Ive been reading the kaplan course book to refresh on content and making note cards on diseases and important facts that I have trouble remembering such as the endocrine diseases and other topics hard to remember that seem to pop up alot on the kaplan questions. Anyways Ive been TRYING to do 50 questions a day but it really hasnt panned out...Ive been reviewing but not really putting in all the questions each day and I know I need to do more. So starting today 100 a day and i know i need to work up my endurance but at first I might break up the 100 a day in two sessions...each followed by reviewing questions missed and answered correctly. Ive been a little bummed because my scores on Qbank havent been the best....50-65 hence me crackin down..
Anyways I like to hear from others that passed and their strategy. I hope I can make it too!!
Oh btw.. i also have the Saunders Comprehensive book that I havent really touched yet...but I hear its got a good CD so i want to try that out too...just been trying to get my scores higher in kaplan. I hope its sticking... =/
