I did not see any thread on February 2011 support group, so I decided to form a forum for us to share our view, plan and how to pass for the test. As we all prayer for each other to continue with this journey I wish everyone who is taking NCLEX-RN and NCLEX-LVN/LPN.

Join the excellent group!

Good luck to everybody testing in February.

Here is the plan and we have a 1+month.

Here is my plan finishing the Saunders CD (fourth edition)

Do the Exam cram CD (1000 questions)

Do the NCLEX 3500 and with all the prayers to pass this NCLEX.

"Holy Spirit,

Thou make me see everything

and show me the way to reach my ideal.

You who will give the divine gift

to forgive and forget the wrong that is done to me

and who are in all instances of my life with me.

I, in this short dialogue, want to thank You for everything

and confirm once more that I never want to be separated from You

no matter how great the material desire may be.

I want to be with You and my loved ones in Your perpetual glory, Amen God please help us all.

So come on board all futures RN's and LVN's let's rock this NCLEX together.

Hey guys,

I just NCLEX in November, and I definitely recommend LaCharity. I had a LOT of priority questions, and so did several of my classmates who took the test then. I also studied Prentice Hall. Passed the first time. God bless all of you!!!

Hi everyone. I am an English RN and I am curently studying to take the NCLEX-RN. As I didn't train in America can anyone suggest good revision books and mock test books I can get to help me on the way to a pass when I take the NCLEX please? I have been a RN for 17 years but the last 10 years have been working in nurse management and you tend to forget some of your clinical skills. All suggestions much appreciated and greetings from England. Good luck to all those taking the test in February

I plan to take mine too mid Feb., wish me luck! It's been a long haul.

Hello all NCLEX preparers! I took and passed my NCLEX-RN this past July in one try. I felt fairly confident going into the test -- I feel like I prepared well. I took some comprehensive pre-assessments to see where my strengths and weaknesses were and organized my content accordingly. I studied only 2-4 hours per day broken into 2 sessions. I studied the material I was weakest on first (for about an hours or so) and then did at least 100 questions per day in all content area. I would flag the ones that I got wrong to understand what I was missing and add that to my "list" to review. I used Mosby's and Kaplan (both had cds and workbook questions) and they both had examples of the new alternate type of questions that I could practice.

Having a good strategy to quickly eliminate distracters and choose the correct answer is useful as well (there were test taking strategies in both of my books that I thought were very helpful). Don't cram - like trying to do thousands of questions in just the few days prior to the exam -- it just will psych you out. It's like a marathon -- you do need to be well rested and fed so you can concentrate and focus and don't "freak out" during the exam.

This worked for me; I passed in 75 questions (not bragging) and if I could do it -- you can too!! The studying is worth it. Find a plan that works for you, but make sure you have a balance with rest or exercise or whatever you do to relax. Good luck to everyone!

Hey all-

I graduated in Dec 2010 and will be taking NCLEX-RN on Feb. 3rd. I'm using the LaCharity book, Saunders, and Kaplan's Meds You Need to Know. I really relaxed over the holidays so I'm trying to make up for lost time now.. eek.

Good luck to all of you studying! :)
