I did not see any thread on February 2011 support group, so I decided to form a forum for us to share our view, plan and how to pass for the test. As we all prayer for each other to continue with this journey I wish everyone who is taking NCLEX-RN and NCLEX-LVN/LPN.
Join the excellent group!
Good luck to everybody testing in February.
Here is the plan and we have a 1+month.
Here is my plan finishing the Saunders CD (fourth edition)
Do the Exam cram CD (1000 questions)
Do the NCLEX 3500 and with all the prayers to pass this NCLEX.
"Holy Spirit,
Thou make me see everything
and show me the way to reach my ideal.
You who will give the divine gift
to forgive and forget the wrong that is done to me
and who are in all instances of my life with me.
I, in this short dialogue, want to thank You for everything
and confirm once more that I never want to be separated from You
no matter how great the material desire may be.
I want to be with You and my loved ones in Your perpetual glory, Amen God please help us all.
So come on board all futures RN's and LVN's let's rock this NCLEX together.
Superman, those were the scores I was receiving and I passed. Don't worry, just be confident and keep studying!
This is really nice to know. I've searched a bit on these forums and there has been a few ppl that said they were in the 55% range and said they passed. That's exactly where I'm at...I've gotten thru just under half the Qbank. It seems whenever I do a test my average stays the same. It's bugging me. I'd feel alot better if I could get to at least 60%. I'm still reviewing and trying tho. I have 16 days till my date.
I'm so freakin nervous...there doesn't seem to be enought time in the day to do all the questions and reviewing I'd like. I did 50 questions today before work and I'm reviewing my least favorite topics tonight while at work- immunizations, growth and development and finishing out the L&D and neonate chapters in the kaplan course book.
I have the whole rest of the week off so I'll be able to devote the entire day and finish out QT4-7 I really hope I'm within range!

that's great because you still manage to answer while at work and that's a thumbs up from me...my overall qbank % is 60% and i'm at 75% left to finish it so i hope the remaining 25% would at least reach of 65 and that could be a good sign for me.....
Goodluck to the both of us. I will also take my NCLEX on mid-february. Thank you for sharing your study habits! :)
i almost forgot, about the normal labs, i just posted on my walls to keep me insight because it's easy for me to memorize especially the decision tree that KAPLAN advised us to use when answering....
Thanks, I actually did that too. I also posted SPIDERMAN, MRS.WEE and VCHIPS. From what I heard those are really helpful. So thank you very much for guiding and helping us pass NCLEX. :)
How long did it take to get your ATT back. I'm paying and sending my paperwork in Friday 1/21/11. I'm just trying to plan on how long I'll have before I get to schedule my exam date.
I really can't say how long it took b/c I sent in my paperwork and registered with Pearson back at the end of October but I didn't complete my program until December so all the paperwork, financing and fingerprints was taken care of way before I graduated. However my school was realllllly slow at sending out our paperwork saying the program was completed so even tho I finished december 16th i didn't receive my ATT until jan 20th! yuck! It really all depends on where u live and what board u are going through though b/c there are people from my class who still don't have their ATT!
I will be taking my Feb 7th. My fellow classmates have all either passed or failed in 75 questions! Additionally, I had one BFF inform me that her NCLEX was heavy on the SATA and drugs she never heard of! She claims to have received no Psych, Maternal type questions. Also said, "You can't study for this!"
Of course no one believes that!....I am doing the Saunders book, took the Kaplan class (a waste IMHO) and have been studying the Mosby flash cards.
Gonna be fun!
