  1. thank you ann.. when are you going to take the nclex? Godblees you...
  2. Hello.. pinay here. I know it's kinda late.. I took the nclex last Feb 15th and the NV BON posted my name on the 28th. I am a nurse now. :yeah::yeah:To God be the Glory.. Thank you for all of the info. guys. I only read 21 chapters of Saunders then I stopped reading. what I did is I just answered a lot of questions or maybe it's not that much. 4000+ questions.. So for those people who hates reading like me, you have a chance to pass the nclex too. PS: PVT worked for me too.
  3. I think it's cellulitis. I saw a guy before with swollen leg like that and they drained the pus without using local anesthesia or anything. He's screaming and crying while the nurse draining the pus. PS: the nurse is gagging and coughing too and I know it's not appropriate to do that in front of the patient.
  4. congratulations! :yelclap: how many pharm and SATA questions did you get?
  5. but the answer from Brunner & Suddarth's Textbook of Med-Surg Nursing is letter C. my answer was letter B and i was wrong. I read that from Saunders too and the answer is letter B. that's why i'm confused. here's the rationale of Brunner: If a radioactive becomes dislodged, the nurse should immediately leave the room and notify the radiation therapy department. The nurse shouldn't attempt to handle the implant or remain in the room with the implant.
  6. A client is in isolation after receiving an internal radioactive implant to treat cancer. Two hours later, the nurse discovers the implant in the bed linens. What should the nurse do first? A. Stay in the room and call for help. B. Pick up the implant with long-handled forceps and place it in a lead-lined container. C. Leave the room and notify the radiation therapy deparment immediately. D. Put the implant back in place, using forceps and a shield for self-protection and call for help.
