Having been guilty myself of hijacking threads saying hello and just chatting to my fellow Aussies I thought it might be worthwhile for us to have a thread that is just dedicated to general Aussie chat. We can then discuss issues like the Morris - oops Davis inquiry in Queensland and what it will mean for Q health and for the rest of Australia.
We can talk cricket, sport and anything else that is just us.

Hi I am Cathy, 44 and working as an AIN for the past year in community nursing with the aged. Loving it. I've applied to go to ACU next year to do my BN and will find out mid-november hopefully. Also applied for the scholarship too from teh govt. I had my first death tonight and think I am handling it well. Of course I've been through the deaths of my parents so this person's death, though, I got quite close, was not so hard to bear.

Just logged on again after about 6 months away.(been studying). i think it is a great idea to have an aussies only page. At least we will know what we are talking about.:yeah:I will now log on a lot more, after my exam this week. After this one only two more to go.
