Hi, I'm Beccy. I'm currently in my final semester of my Diploma of Nursing, through TAFESA. I actually found allnurses.com while i was doing some homework incidentally. I hope to get to know you all a bit better in the future!

I can answer some of the TAFESA questions a little. I currently study at the Port Adelaide campus, where they teach the Diploma course for internationals as well as domestic students - both on and off campus. I've found the lecturers absolutely amazing. You'll find that the lecturers who teach at Pt Adel, are the ones who, not only write the power points for the lectures, but they also write and edit (one of my lecturers is the editor for all of them) the training packages. As for job availability. SA are screaming for nurses atm. I'm currently doing my Diploma through TAFESA. For us its 18mo F/t and 2 yrs p/t. I'm in my final semester of my two years, and only 12 weeks weeks from my Clincal placement in a hospital setting (6 week placement, Aged care was 4). I cant wait. I'm so close to the end i can taste it!

Hey i'm new on this forum. I'm an EN student at TAFESA, at Pt Adelaide. (lol i found it by accident while doing homework) I'm coming up to doing my clinical placement soon, which i'm really looking forward to! I cant wait!
