Does anybody have any they would like to share?
Here are some of mine:
Whenever my grandmother had leg cramps, she would wrap her leg very tightly in saran wrap. It worked like a charm.
If your hair is greying at the roots and you don't have time to dye it, rub ground coffee (of course only for brunettes) into the roots. They will cover up enough grey untill you have time to get your hair done.
Itching like crazy? Take out the vinegar and pour on itchy spots. You might smell bad, but at least the itching stops.
I know their are a lot more, but my brain how ceased to recall any more at this time.
How about yours?
THANKS :)
Jules
Peppermint seems to be an allover remedy. Peppermint candy for an upset stomache, bad breath, sore throat or "stuffy" nose...we all know those. But peppermint soap works great for yeast infections and is less messy than yogurt. If you start a round of antibiotics...start right away and you wont get one. If you get a yeast infections...start using some and it will nip it in the ummm you know LOL

Oooooohhh I forgot my favourite Tea tree Oil. (can't tell I'm Aussie huh!) It takes the itch out of most things is one of the strongest natural antifungals will cure tinea if applied directly and if you apply it just before bed the smell wafting up from your feet will clear your sinuses:chuckle But I do NOT recommend it as a replacement for yoghurt:eek:
We are actually using "Yokult" mliguid acidophillus culture daily to reduce ICU diarrhea. Seems to be reducing the incidence.

I pinch--- HARD---- the spot between my thumb and index finger for headache relief when nothing else is around. Grab and HOLD hard for a few seconds or a minute. don't know much about reflexology or accupressure, but this does work!
This does work, i've used that when i haven't had any Tylenol around.
(nice quote about the waxing LMAO)
I thought of a few more tried and true ones...
Can't find your tweezers to pluck your eyebrows? No sweat! Go get a bandaid and apply the sticky parts to the eyebrow area. It may take a few bandaids to do...but it sure does rip out those pesky stragglers! LOL
Many uses for club soda other than to drink:
Cleans up vomit
Cleans stains on carpeting (but you need to apply asap)
Cleans mirrors- no more need for Windex!
Cleans cars
Makes you burp real good!
Majorly over ate? - plunk an alka seltzer into a glass of club soda and I swear- it WILL make you feel so much better!

I did that with 3M's Transpore tape. I lost half an eyebrown when i didn't quite put it on right. I had to draw that one on until it finally grew back.
