i hope everyone had a great weekend! :)
my update: i wasn't able to officially weigh in last week due to orientation, but on my home scale, i was down 12 lbs. yeah! i just hope i can keep this up. i worked 7p - 7a both friday & saturday night, and i ate horribly & did not exercise either day. i just have to do better this week. 173/161/125
best wishes!
Also, I signed up with my "good" email addy, not a junky one. I'm not going to get spammed or anything from them, will I? I detest signing up and paying good money, only to have my email sold and then on everyone's list. I just got DSL, so it's a new one I'm trying hard to "protect" if YKWIM!! :chuckle I did opt out of receiving the email letter. I figure it's probably all posted on the site anyway, and the less I receive email-wise, the better.
Thanks smiley. I just signed up today, and am still making my way around the site.I couldn't find this anywhere, but with the online version, do you get a points packet or anything in the mail? I can see it's going to be a pain in the rear to run to the computer and find out what each food item is worth for myself and my daughter (though maybe that will count as exercise, as the 'puter is upstairs! LOL) I printed out some stuff and will keep a folder in the kitchen, but just wasn't sure what I'd get in the mail, if anything.
Also, what are the 3 numbers? Start weight/current/goal? Maybe? I went to the low end of what my range is, but I think that may be too much for me. A few years ago I was a size 6 at 135, but it said my low-end goal weight was 126.9. I think that I may look emaciated. Anyway, my current numbers are 165/165/135 (not 126, as they say. I'm going to change that!).
I haven't recieved any packet from WW about the points in the mail. I not sure if i will. However when I was with WW last year I had bought their welcome package at one of their meetings. it included a book with points foods we usually eat like how many pts ground beef would be. and it also had a book w/ resturants and pts for their products. It cost around $20. this is so helpful to me. also when i went to the meeting i got a thing for free that calculates points so i dont have to run to the puter to figure pt values. I have seen these things for sale on ebay. mind you you may pay a higher price on ebay than just purchasing it from a WW meetings.
I hope this helps you. I would highly recommend getting those books and a pt calculator. I would be lost with out them. I saw on WW website though they sold this stuff in a big welcome package but it was around $100. it had alot of stuff in the package though. however it was a little pricey.
yes the three numbers are start weight/current/goal.

I haven't been spamed because of them. I also opted out for email newsletter however i still recieve things from them in my email. I also made sure in my profile that my email address wasn't available too. So far so good on that. :)
Thank you! Great information - I'll go look at the points kit now. My daughter and I spent about an hour looking up points for our favorite foods and printing them, along with a weeks worth of sample menus. Being a teenager, she hates everything, but was pleased when she saw she could have a small chocolate bar or something and count that. She thought it was going to be a no/carbs or sweets kind of thing. I think this may be one she sticks to and doesn't cheat on. :)
Well, I weighed in last night and was the same as last week. I guess that is better than having gained, but it is still disappointing considering my mom is here to visit and even went to the meeting with me. Anyways, I also weighed myself yesterday morning and this morning and both showed a drop of 2 pounds so I don't know if maybe it just has to do with being that time of the month. I do know that my scale is the same as the one at the meetings because I have been weighing myself both there and at home each week and they are always the same. Have a good week everyone and to whom it applies, Happy Easter.

I know my menstrual cycle screws up my scale royally! I don't think I even bother anymore until a few days after I've started.
Today was my weigh in day. I did lose - a little 167/166/135. My daughter weighs in today also.
Just reporting in....haven't posted in a while...last week I maintained but I finally hit 30 lbs....
238.6/208.2/135?
Hopefully this week I lose big....just got past TOM and have been journaling EVERYTHING...and drinking all of my H2O! Will post after Wednesday's meeting.
Good Luck everyone! Remember....everyday is a new day and you can always have a fresh start.
