i hope everyone had a great weekend! :)

my update: i wasn't able to officially weigh in last week due to orientation, but on my home scale, i was down 12 lbs. yeah! i just hope i can keep this up. i worked 7p - 7a both friday & saturday night, and i ate horribly & did not exercise either day. i just have to do better this week. 173/161/125

best wishes!

I started last Wednesday. I weighed myself this morning and I am down 6 pounds. I am a bit worried that it might not match the scale at the meeting, but I have been checking to make sure that the scale is at 0 before I step on it. I hope they match and I hope that I even lose a couple more pounds before then. My friend who has been OP for a while now has lost 22 pounds and she said that she lost 9 pounds the first week. My husband started the same day I did and he has already lost 9 pounds. What a stinker! Just kidding, I am happy for him. He also has much less weight to lose than I do.

kats...what kind of scale is it that you have? Is it a dr's scale like at the ww weigh-ins? I've got a regular "step-on" dial read scale & mine's 5 lbs off from the ones at ww. I went home right after my meeting one week & stepped on the scale to find out. Then I adjusted it so that it'd be correct.

Even so, congrats on starting ww! The weight will start coming off...quickly at first, then it'll slow down & become fairly steady. :)

I have a regular one too. I plan on adjusting it after the meeting Tuesday night if it needs it. I know it will slow down, so that won't come as a shock. Even so, if I lose a couple pounds a week I will be very close to goal weight by Christmas. I have lots to lose, but what a Christmas present that will be if I am successful. I can still remember how good it feels to be thin so clearly even though it has been a while.

Yep, I'm with you, kimberly...I've got a lot to lose too & am hoping to get down to goal by Thanksgiving or Christmas. I will get a kick out of being thin for the holidays...I don't see many of my extended family members during the year, so when they see me at Christmas, they will be surprised! :)

We live in CA, but always go to Washington for Christmas to see my husband's family. We usually stop by on the way to see my Mom too. Anyways, we also don't see them other times throughout the year so they will probably be surprised too. Well, that is if they even notice. You know how in-laws can be. That's ok though because I just want to do this for me so I can feel more confident and have more energy again.

I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!

I weighed in last night & after that 3 pound gain, I lost 5.25 pounds!!!

I'm so motivated now! I'm outta the 200's! WOOT! I know it'll slow down again, but this is just fantastic. Exactly what I needed to get myself going again. :) So now I've lost a grand total of 16.25 lbs. A few more & I'll get my 20# star & 5.75 lbs til I get my 10% keychain. :D

Hey everyone! I weighed in today and I'm down another 1.6lbs!!! YEA*** I am only 5.8lbs away from my 10%. My total loss now is 14.2! I went shopping yesterday and bought a pair of pants in a size 14 and I was wearing a 18/20. I was dancing in the dressing room LOL :rotfl: I hope everyone has a good week. I hope I don't mess up next week as I am going to California to visit my parents for spring break. A whole week with no kids or husband!!!!!!! :p

:balloons: Tonight was my first weigh-in since I started last Tuesday and I am down 6.8 pounds. Yea! I know it won't be that much every week-wouldn't that be great if that were true? I just hope it stays steady. So far, this week has been pretty easy and I have been eating way better than I thought I would be able to.

I weighed in today - after four days in San Antonio with friends (read, margarita's and beer all weekend) - and I gained a pound. :stone I can't really be upset, because I knew it was going to happen. I told my husband that I am getting serious about WW and my points again starting today. (He is very supportative. :) )

I hope everybody has/had a better week than me! Good luck to all!

1 lb isn't bad. We've all done it. Heck, I gained 3 in 2 weeks earlier this month, so don't worry about it. You're back on track & that's the important thing! :)
