I am going to call them this afternoon to get some info - just wondering if anyone here has ANY info they can share.
Also I've taken just about all of my pre-reqs at TCC, those will all transfer to Weatherford College wont they?
Any classes taken from a college receiving state funds in TX will transfer to another college receiving those funds (Weatherford to TCC, or Weatherford to MSU, ect). However, those classes may not apply to the degree that you are seeking and each college has: limitations, for example - most nursing schools require that your chemistry be taken within the past five years, and pre-reqs, for example - WC required sociology at the time I was preparing to apply, but MSU doesn't - so I have 3 hours wasted!!! Always check the college you are wanting to apply to for pre-reqs because there are big differences. I remember looking at TWU and their pre-reqs were way different. Private colleges (Baylor or TCU) may or may not accept pre-reqs from state colleges. I think nearly each college has a transcript transfer site that will tell you if they accept X class from Z college, be sure and check that too :)
Hello! I am going to be completing Micro this summer @ TCC. The only question I have is that someone said that it is best to apply in June when the application period begins. I have all other pre-req's completed but will not be done with Micro until July 2nd. Will this make it hard for me to get accepted to the program since I will not be able to apply until I have completed the course? Does it really matter if you apply @ the beginning of June?? Thanks for the info!
It doesn't matter if you apply in the beginning of the application period. You have to have completed the pre reqs in order to be to get the points for them. I applied the last week and got in. You get a certain amount of points and that is all that matters. You can contact the nursing department and Karen will email you their point system.

When do letters go out at Weatherford? I applied with 22 out of 26 points and can't hardly stand the wait between Weatherford and TCC.
