Weatherford College

I am going to call them this afternoon to get some info - just wondering if anyone here has ANY info they can share.

Also I've taken just about all of my pre-reqs at TCC, those will all transfer to Weatherford College wont they?

When I was looking at WC for my nursing degree I was told to apply on the first day of the applications being accepted by one of the staff. It won't matter if you don't have micro complete - they will see on your transcript that you are in the process of taking the class... however, I'm not sure how that would work w/the points system. I'd go ahead and turn in app on first day, then update before the deadline because I know at one time, the top students who applied earliest got in.

I am going to apply for Spring 2011. Can someone tell me if you wait til the application period starts to get the required vaccinations? Also, if you were accepted into WC Nursing program, was their an info session that you needed to attend before applying?

Thanks!

I wouldn't wait for anything but your TB test. It's just easier to get them out of the way as soon as you can. When it comes time to apply, and once you get the letter, there's lots of things to get in order. The Hep B series takes 4 months to complete. I'm on the alternate list this semester for Weatherford. I applied there and at TCC. TCC did require an information session but Weatherford did not, at least for Fall 2010. Good luck! :)
