Weatherford College Spring 2011 applicants

Published

Hi! Who is applying to Weatherford for the spring 2011 semester?

I took the TEAS yesterday and didn't do as well as I was hoping. I am going to retake it and hopefully then I will have 18 or 19 points. It seems that the point system has changed and is only 23 possible points now, rather than 26.

I really don't know if 18 or 19 will be enough, but I haven't completed Micro so that is going to hurt me. I figure it is worth a try though! You can't win if you don't play! lol.

So who else is applying? How many points does everyone have?

i hope i get called next week!!

nope, i don't like my stethoscope. "i love it!":lol2:

our subway has gf bread too. nice. for pizza though, i have to go to bostons or uno's chicago grill (fort worth). or make my own.

i live west of weatherford. we need to all meet up for orientation!

Hey, did you ever hear from your friend? I am assuming she didn't turn in stuff on our last deadline, if she didn't notify them too. If so, that means some movement occurred. And we know Dreamers spot opened up. So there is hope. :)

Ok good, I think that is the stethoscope I am going to get. It is nicer than the lightweight? Did you get the classic II SE? Sorry, for the 20 questions! Yes, there should be some movement, as she is no longer on the list for WC!

YAY SHERRI!!! That's two spots open. I read online that the Classic is better than the lightweight.

Any suggestions as to were we should meet before orientation???

I've been shopping for a Littmann Classic II SE for a few weeks now, and have found that the best pricing can be found at www.medisave.net -- it's $69.99 and comes with free laser engraving on the head (most sites I've been to have them for $70-$80 + $14.95 for engraving).

Just found a coupon code for www.medisave.net! Add coupon code FACEB11 for a 5% discount. It doesn't sound like much, but every little bit helps when it comes to buying things for Nursing School!! (and also officially makes this site the cheapest I've found for stethoscopes)

Yes, I believe it is nicer than the lightweight. Although I think either would do for nursing school.

Dreamer - that is where I got mine. Friend them on FB and ask for their discount and you can get a little more off. And I love the engraving! Makes it harder to lose!

LIBRARY? Central location and has air conditioning!

LOL, I must've been searching for an online code as you were typing that. I love www.retailmenot.com, it is always the first site I go to in order to find online coupon codes!

So I now know 4 out of 20 that have chosen other schools. SURELY there is at least one more that I do not know about. If so, that would be 1/4 of the 20! Pleeeeze call me WC! :lol2:

The library is fine with. What time shall we meet?? I want to get there early and in plenty of time to orientation to not be late.

The library doesn't open until 8am. The paper says the check-in begins at 7:45, so I would like to be there by then. I am up for meeting whatever time. Any more ideas on where to meet. I think the fine arts building is on the outskirts of the campus and I don't really know what would be close to it?
