Guaykz,
I moved your post to the International Forum since the Phillipine Forum is strictly for information related to working in the Phillipines. Good luck to you.

1. if you want the fastest way, do not write your local exam, the nle.
2. in case that you have not notices, those that took the june exam are having major problems with the exam, and being able to work in the us as well.
3. please take the time to read the primer at the top of the international forum, you do not apply to sit for the nclex exam, you apply to a state for licensure.
4. even if your goal is to work in ca, do not apply there for initial licensure, it will be six months or so until you get approval to even sit for the exam.
5. please take the time to do some reading here, and understand that there is no fast way, even with getting the fiance visa, it is not automatic and immediate. takes months.

Definitely, do not take the NLE anymore as Suzanne said. That will set you back if something happens again or if you failed the exam.
thanks...
either way.. my local nle will be on dec 2 and 3.. i already have applied.. i was supposed to take last june but i wasnt able to apply because my school didn't allow me to.. (got my transcripts held by them).. so after all of what happened last june.. i told myself it's blessing in disguise that i was not part of that controversy... anyway.. thanks for the posts..
after my nle.. id start applying to sit for nclex..

Why would you ask for advice, then ignore it? Everyone already said the fastest way is don't take the NLE.

You asked for our suggestion and you are looking at slowing yourself down by months, you wanted fast and we told you what to do and what not to do. And the main thing that we told you not to do is take that NLE exam.
Your choice, but when issues arise after the exam, there will not be one thing that we can do to help you. And you do not even know for sure that the exam will be then. The PRC keeps changing their mind. Even if it is paid for, there is no reason that you need to take it.
One last word, then I am not discussing it any further. There is no guarantee that there will not be issues with this exam, if I were to guess, I can say that there will be. There has been cheating with many exams there and to say that it will automatically stop is utterly insane. Sure things will be watched with a fine tooth comb, but with all of the issues coming from that last exam, why in the world would you want to do something that more than likely delsay you from getting to the US. Makes no sense at all.
Sorry, but you cannot apply just after taking that exam, you will need to wait until the results come out. All states will want to see a passing exam, and a license issued, and none of us have crystal balls to know what the PRC will even come up with. So, when you could be applying right now and getting things done, you will be forced to wait months from now.
So much for wanting things fast. You have just slowed yourself down by four months and tyhat is just the start. Then throw in another two months to get a date............what you want to do is absurd.
Your expected child will be a year old before you get over if you do it your way, but that is your choice. We have told you what to do.

Since I do not hold a license in the Philippines but took the June 2007 NLE, can I write in the written explanation that I will send to CABON, that I haven't took any licensure examinations in the Philippines. Will that make the processing faster, like less than 6 months?
Just a question that popped from my mind.
Hope you do not get angry.
Thanks for a response!

That might be a bad idea as it may be perceived as not telling the truth. You can just simply tell them that you are still waiting for the results and you will send them a copy afterwards.
Besides, contrary to some people might think the letter of explanation is not an automatic thing. It is still up to them to decide if they will accept the explanation or not and they can request that they want the copy first or any proof of passing said exam before proceeding as some States are now starting to require.

hey, we're on the same boat. while waiting for the result, i've just prepared the things needed for the licensure like fingerprinting and stuffs required from the school.. i wrote an explanation letter that im still waiting for the results and to inform them whatever it is... i haven't mailed it to the BON though, if i will and i'll get a response, i'll tell you what it is.. The best thing to do right now is to prepare the papers and other requirements ok.. tc! Good luck to us...

does it mean that if new grads here in phil have plans to migrate to US, its better not to take NLE?... i should have read this forum earlier, i already took the NLE considering that i want to be liscensed here also but the result will not be released not until last week of august... i should have not taken the NLE if given a chance.... i want to apply for licensure in NJ immediately but i think i have to wait for the exam since anyhow my application will be delayed eitherway...
