Waiting to take NCLEX

Published

Hello to everyone.. I've read alot of posts in here and I am nervous like the rest of you waiting to take the NCLEX..I am scheduled for the 16th of Jan. I thought about waiting to take it, but then I was afraid I'd forget some stuff from school..I struggled really hard in school and it was along hard year, but I made it by the grace of GOD !! So now I am going over the Saunders book, but my friend just took it and she said the Saunders didn't help..So now I am freaking out, I'm not sure how to study now..Also I was told that there are several fill in the blank questions !! I'm hoping not or I am in BIG trouble..Any advice would be helpful..Thanks

Hi There!

I graduated Dec 19 received my ATT Dec 31 and scheduled my exam Feb 2. I am so nervous. I have been studying 100-150 questions a day from saunders I usually do very well, Exam Cram I do fair and Kaplan web site I do poor. I was actually feeling confident untill I started takeing the Kaplin tests. Congrats to all who recently took the test and passed.

Hello all. I am scheduled to take the NCLEX-PN on monday the 14th. I am a little anxious about it because I hate standardized tests, but I feel that I have been prepared for this by my instructors and by studying. So far all in my class that have taken the exam have passed. I am just reading and reviewing a little to refresh my memory. Good luck to all. Try to relax.

Tomorrow is the big day.

I am so nervous that I am feeling sick right now.

I have been studying with Saunders since second semester of school...lol but I still feel unprepared.

I just can't remember every single dog gone thing!

I feel frustrated because it's impossible to know everything and yet this seems to be what is expected.

I feel like what have I gotten myself into? I wish I could have waited longer to test but I don't have the luxury of waiting any longer because I really need a job and every place I have spoken with says I have to pass the boards first.

Ugh, it hasn't even been a full month since I graduated, I wish I had more time.

Hello, hey where did you graduate from? Because I graduated a day earlier than you did and I haven't received my eligibility letter yet so I haven't been able to pay and register for the nclex and I haven't been able to schedule a test date yet either 'cause I haven't even gotten my ATT notification....Well, I'm from California and I've heard it's been slow if you're from California...where did you graduate from?? Paperwork for you came real quick....And btw, I feel the same way too! I've been studying and still don't feel like I'm ready...

Alpha Dog,

Why does it take sooo long in Cali? That would make me crazy! We graduated 12/14/07 and was able to set up testing right after graduation..Then it takes a week to set it up and 2 days to get results back after testing..You'll have to let me know when you get your date, so I can send good vibes your way..

Alpha dogI graduated from Texas Careers in San Antonio TX. Not everyone in my class has receivedthere ATT. I think it depends on when you send your BNE and Pearson vue fee. I sentmy fee to the Texas BNE 2 months before I graduated and then I sent my fee to pearsonvue Nov. 12 aprox one month before I graduated. In Texas they require you to pay Pearson Vue before the BNE sends you your ATT. Then you may schedule your test. Classmates of mine who paid Pearson Vue at the end of NOV are still waiting on thereGVN permit and ATT. Good Luck.

85 Questions and 2.5 hours. :o

About 6 med questions.

Maybe 5 SATA and lots of different priority questions. Lots of who do you see first and which one requires immediate attention stuff.

I feel like I failed and I am starting to get really depressed already.

Falon,

2.5 hours ? Do the questions go from easy to hard? I'm sure you did great..they say shutting off at 85 is good..How long till you get results back?
