I am in the same boat as you are. I think we will find out in late November. I am so nervous!! My friend and I applied in August so we already have been waiting for over a month now. She applied with a 4.0, she is not nervous at all! I on the other hand I am so nervous I applied with a 3.8 but there have been so many people transferring from the other colleges with waitlists, so it is definetly getting more competitive. I am restless ..........:uhoh3:

Well you are better off then I, My GPA isn't a 3.8, but I think Im still good enough. I an def. higher then the cutoff for the last 3 semesters. I keep hearing that "all those people applying for different schools" ia a rumor. I guess we'll have to wait and see... I dont know if I can wait till late november!!!!!

I applied for January 08. I was really hoping that we would find out closer to the beginning of November, the wait is gonna be torture.

I wouldn't say that I was "slacking" this semester, but I am absolutely not as focused as I have been in previous classes. I am trying to get the last four pre-reqs done so that I can dedicate myself to nursing classes in January, if I get in.

I've talked to quite a few people applying with a 4.0 & 3.8, seems like it is getting tougher each semester.

Hopefully come November we will all have good news to post!

Sounds like you guys have nothing to worry about! I got in with a 3.56 without a problem, so I'm pretty sure that you all won't have a problem. Relax and concentrate on getting the rest of your classes completed before you start the program. I highly recommend having all of your co-reqs completed BEFORE you begin because it is NO JOKE. In addition to nursing classes, I also work full time and have nutrition and medical math. It's doable, but you will have absolutely no free time. We only have 15 days left until the end of the first 7.5 weeks and then it's on to m/s clinicals and lecture, so I'm excited because I'll only have nursing and nutrition. Still a full plate, but at least I won't won't be class 5 days a week. But anyways, good luck to you all and keep us posted!

For Medical math, I took Ms. Thomas. I loved her

I am also anxiously waiting for my letter in the mail. During the interim I am taking my last co-reqs with my medical math starting Oct. 26 also. I applied with my pre-reqs and co-reqs equaling a 4.0 but im still nervous. Good luck to everyone.

I have Dr. Cook at the NW campus. She's pretty good, but she is very fast paced. The good thing is that she's approachable and always willing to help if you need it. If you're a slow learner or not good at math, I probably wouldn't suggest her. Whatever instructor you choose, I highly recommend looking at the book and becoming familiar with it before the first day of class. Hope this helps!

You're welcome! I would definitely say that your friend's advice hit right on the money! One of my instructors said that we're on the polar express train and that is so true. It seems like we just started yesterday, but hear we are finishing up the first half of the semester. Boy, does the time fly!:uhoh3:

I also have Dr. Cook at NW for Med Math. I personally really like the class. I feel like she gives us the simplest method to do the problems. Good luck to everyone waiting on the letter and don't worry the time flies!
