I thought it might be nice to have a place for us to vent our frustrations with waiting until May 30th or so when letters start going out. I know I'm going nuts already!
How about introductions and a little info about each person?
I'm applying to both Bloomington and Indy-Lawrence for the Fall 2009 ASN programs. I turned in my apps this week with 4 As on the pre-reqs and a 90.0 on the TEAS. My eventual goal is at least getting a BSN, and if I feel like doing homework long enough, an MSN of some sort. I work full time now, but will hopefully only work part time if I get accepted. I'm so antsy to start preparing and finally feel like all of this is real!
Thank You for all your replies! So I decide to fax my the unofficial copy of my transcript over, and of course...the fax line is BUSY! I think I am going to be ill!!!

I have the same FAQ packet--it says "The Nursing dept. will enter your final grades in May." So you should be just fine.
Hey will all of you who will be getting in and starting in the fall still hang out here? It always seems like once people get in, they stop posting here pretty much. . . but me and a few others who aren't applying yet will want to hear all about how things are going for all of you, and any tips and advice you have after your first semester! :wink2:
I was looking at the old thread from this time last year and some of the peopel got their letters before the end of May, I think a fair number of people got them even like the 23-25th or so. I hope that will be us as well!
Now I'm worrying that my husband is going to drop my letter on the way in from the mailbox and I'll never get it LOL. It never ends...
I don't think you will have to worry about that, I was told if you receive a packet it's good a letter is not good. So, it would be hard to drop a big packet and not know it.
Holy Cow! We wil know before May 30th! I thought it was mailed out after the 30th!!! My B-Day is the 30th so I was planning on ignoring the fact that it was coming until afterwards.....but now I'm about to pull my hair out!

I think it depends on what campus you're applying to and when they actually send the letters. It seems like last year some of them went out early so don't get your hopes up too high just yet. Like I should talk, I checked the mail twice yesterday, just in case I'd missed it ;P
Hi fellow hopefuls! I applied for fall, i have been lurking around here trying to get a tally on you all applying at fort wayne. i only applied there and i only applied for RN. to be honest, i wasn't stressed until now. now i am freaking out!:thnkg:i got 84 on my teas. i know thats not as good as some of you! jeez good job guys! but i have all As in my prereqs. i am taking micro this summer. everyone says its really tough and i am taking two other classes online. hopefully, i do okay and HOPEFULLY i get in for fall! so is it true that if you get accepted, you get a packet and if you don't you get a letter?
