I thought it might be nice to have a place for us to vent our frustrations with waiting until May 30th or so when letters start going out. I know I'm going nuts already!
How about introductions and a little info about each person?
I'm applying to both Bloomington and Indy-Lawrence for the Fall 2009 ASN programs. I turned in my apps this week with 4 As on the pre-reqs and a 90.0 on the TEAS. My eventual goal is at least getting a BSN, and if I feel like doing homework long enough, an MSN of some sort. I work full time now, but will hopefully only work part time if I get accepted. I'm so antsy to start preparing and finally feel like all of this is real!
So I am not the only one who has noticed that the information you get (even from the same person) varies daily? I thought it was just me... :) Like you said, better safe than sorry...How many more days of this stress?????????
Nope, I think that's pretty obvious and VERY frustrating. No wonder so many NS applications are bundles of stress and nerves and obessively check everything we do a million times-- we never know if the information we are getting is accurate. So frustrating!
I can only imagine what they say about all of us OCD applicants in the nursing offices! But I do have one more question about final grades...and I promise this is the last! :) I was looking on Campus Connect and couldn't find dates, so does anyone know when our final grades will be available? I know my grades, but I was just wondering when transcripts will be available?

I think this depends on when the teachers post them. I know there is an overall deadline that they all must be submitted but I don't know when that is. The deadline to have the updated official transcripts to the nursing office is 5/15 I believe.
I will look at my notes for the info session later to double check. May 16 sticks out in my mind but as thats a Saturday I would think it would be the 15. This is for Lawrence campus. Don't know about any other campuses. As soon as grades are posted my fat butt will be there! I wonder if they even look at applications until spring grades are in. Why must it all be such a mystery? Hang in there everyone!

Per the Admin Asst in Indy, we have until Mon, May 18th to submit our final transcript (since the 16th is on a Sat). I've already asked as I'll be out of town May 11-17! YIKES! Fingers crossed that grades MIGHT be posted early as I would LOVE to check this off my "To Do List" BEFORE leaving on vacation! (I know, wishful thinking!)

Yes, the mystery continues! I wondered the same thing about the applications. April 1 seemed awfully early (especially since it was right around Spring Break time).
