Waiting CA NCLEX RN results from 8/22

Published

Hi everyone,

I was just wondering if anyone else out there took the NCLEX exam this past Wednesday in California and have seen their name posted on the BON website? I took the test in San Francisco and got ALL 265 questions! I left pearson with a huge knot in my stomach and I felt like I had been hit by a ton of bricks! I was so drained!

So now the wait is what is killing me! Yesterday the website was not updated for some reason so I had hope that my name would appear today, but no such luck. Now I have to wait until Tuesday since the website doesn't get updated until Monday night! :(

Is anyone else in the same boat? Thanks.

No results here yet...anyone else?

no result for me either!!!

I took mine in Gardena, California on 8/27. I'm waiting for the next update hopefully tomorrow 8/29. For the past 2 days, I have been a wreck. I really hate this waiting game. Let's see, I had 2 SATA, no math calculations, 10-15 meds, a good chunk of priority questions, a few delegation, Cushings syndrome popped up twice, no fill in the blanks, hot spots, or place in correct order. 3-10 days wait is what I read before you see something on BON with ssn. Just curious, why doesn't California have quick result like the other states?

Im in the same boat,

I took my test on 8/23 in San Francisco. Went to 265, left feeling terrible and STILL haven't heard anything yet. I'm currently working with my IP and almost done with orientation. Love the place I work, am about to be married and will be crushed if I dont pass. The suspense is killlllllllllllllllling me..... I check daily , hourly , and nothing. To finish me off, a friend of my took the exam the same day I did and he found out YESTERDAY that he passed..... I sure hope we pass... :uhoh21:

guys, i want to ask where you can check your name whether you pass the NCLEX exam or not? what particular link? thanks so much!

If you took it with CA then there is no way a foreign nurse with no SSN can check and have to wait for mail. If done with another state they sometime participate with quick results and can be found on pearsonvue for a small fee. Otherwise sometimes you can see your name under license on the state BON

I'm in the same boat, guys!

Took it Saturday 8/25, stopped at 201. This waiting is killing me.

Oh my god, I just found today that I passed at 101-102 questions. I am in shock and I even started crying. Can you imagine a grown man crying. I really thought that I had failed miserably. Tested on 8/27 and got my results today 8/30.

I'm finally an RN!!!!!!!!!!!

I just took my NCLEX-RN yesterday and had a total of 75 questions. This is the second time I have had to take it. I felt ok :nuke:about it until I came home and started looking up some of the ones I missed. :o I had about 12-13 medications on there (some I knew, some I did not) and then the rest were really random. I had about 5-6 selet all of the apply crap, 5-6 prioritizing...The first time I took the test I had all 265 questions. I have heard of it going both ways. People failing at both. Had a friend of mine who took basically the same test..kinda...with just 75 questions and she failed the first time and then passed the second time with 265 questions. :eek:Has anybody out there been it this particular situation?? 265 the first go 'round then 75 the next??? I feel like throwing up!! :crying2:

:balloons:I bet U PASSED!!! you were sooo close the first time, and the second go around, you must of been right on the BALL!
