Waiting on acceptance/rejection letters

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Published

I am a nervous wreck waiting on whether or not I am accepted to my school's nursing program for this fall 2013, and thought that starting this thread may be able to keep myself and others company......:nailbiting:....Please feel free to write anything while we wait.

Congrats to everyone who has been accepted! So far I have been wait listed at one school, rejected from another and still waiting to hear back from 2 others. These are all BSN programs and I am getting nervous! But I am praying hard!

I too just joined this waiting game. I just took the test this morning. I did so so and not completeley happy with my score so Im anxious to receive that acceptance/rejection letter.

I have completed all my prereq with a GPA of 3.71 but my TEAS socre is just so so.

Adjusted score 82%

Nationa Percentile Rank 91%

Program Rank 93%

I'm a bit confused about this percentile ranking. Is this ranking just for this year, or maybe a 3 year time period? anyone know?

I hope it's just for this year coz that would mean that even if I scored low, I'm on the top 7% in my school. wishful thinking.

I think it depends on your school how long your scores are good for. At my school you have to retake.the test every year.

I just got my official acceptance for the May 2013 class. I posted earlier in this thread that I was supposed to begin in the Fall, but I was notified that I was an alternate for this upcoming summer class, so I was waiting to see what would happen. Well, a seat opened up and I got it! I can hardly believe it! Wow...I've worked so hard to get here. Now I've got the jitters. Orientation starts next week. I'm kind of reeling, because I had it in my mind that I would have the summer off! Not complaining...just trying to catch my breath...

I didn't make the program last year. Did make it this year. Got my acceptance letter for the fall 2013 yesterday. I'm also graduating with my BS in Health Sciences at the end of this semester. When it rains...it pours. :)

Awesome! Congratulations!! I start this summer as well (in June) and my orientation isn't until May.

SIGH.....Two more weeks left for acceptance/rejection letters to go out and I am sweating bricks and blood waiting to find out what my fate is going to be.

:wacky:

Well, I guess all we can do is spiritually hold hands together and pray that things play in the way we need. Because only he knows that I if I don't get this I am going to be breaking down.

I applied in early February for the nursing program at a local community college and I just got my acceptance letter last Saturday. I'm so excited! Best of luck to all those waiting to find out if they got in, as well as to my fellow fall 2013 nursing students! :-)

3 more weeks before letters go out. It feels like time is dragging SOOOOOOOO slowly!!! I just want to know...whether it's good news or bad news. I just want to know!!!

I keep playing that Tom Petty song in my head "the wa-ai-ting is the hardest part" :D
