Virtual Clinical Excursions

Does anyone else use these? I seen this book in my nursing school library and I was going to borrow it. If you use them do you find them helpful? All answers and opinions are welcomed and thank you :)

We use them.... They are very mildly helpful to me. I really wouldn't waste my time with them. I am sure there has to be something better out there

Ok thanxs

We used them lieu of actual clinical days! Horrible! Some info was helpful, but overall a waste of time. Plus they take forever.

Ok thank you Ive read a few bad reviews but I wanted more feedback on these things thanks for your replies

We had to do them instead of clinical for absence either by instructor or student. I only did one and did not find it helpful at all. It was busy work, to me.

Ok thanxs everyone for your input, it looks as if that book along with the cd will stay right in my schools library, I only want books and materials that will help me in any way

I like the game prognosis for smart phones. Gives scenarios with patients. It is fun and I learn A LOT from it.

I have that app to and I love it

Used it today. I like it.

We have to use them for class. So far, they're a bit confusing to me.

Can I ask what that is and how do you get them?

Its a book, its called virtual clinical excursions. Don't waste your money or time. We have to use it for my class, and i thought it was going to be really cool/helpful but its really not. Its quite stupid. I've only done two lessons in it so far, and you pretty much just copy the answers from the program into the workbook. Not much of a learning tool.
