  1. Dosagehelp.com really helped me throughout school.
  2. I am at my boiling point now. I've gotten behind on my reading and am failing 2 classes (maternity and peds) so I have to really focus on that, started clinicals, paper to write, presentations to do,(too much to list!) all this while trying to work and refinish a kitchen before I can move in to a new house:banghead:. I hope I can stay focused. I am in my 1st semester (we have intersession, 1st, and 2nd semester).
  3. We have to use them for class. So far, they're a bit confusing to me.
  4. One of my instructors has problems pronouncing the words (A&P), so this surgical tech person in class who doesn't even have to take the class, they're just there for a "refresher" , starts pronouncing the words for him, the instructor is like, yeah, there ya go! But, he's still pronouncing wrong as well. ( I have no experience, but I use the book to learn to pronounce in this case.) Oh boy, what a year this will be.
  5. Starting this weekend...probably about...half a day Saturday and the other 23 hrs of Sunday, lol. Got assigned to read and memorize chapters 1-6 with a test next Thursday that we must pass with an 80%. Isn't this fun! I'll let you know how it goes.
  6. I just finished my first week, and the ones with "experience" in the field act like they don't need to be in this or that class because they know IT ALL! I wish they would have a seperate class for them so I wouldn't have to hear them answer every...single....question without letting anyone else begin to think. Ok, I'm done, lol. Thanks for your post!
  7. Starting tomorrow (Jan. 8th) for 13 month program in Ohio. Super nervous and excited at the same time.
  8. I start for LPN in January. Haven't got any of my books yet or supplies. I am starting to get more freaked out as each day passes. Mine will be 13 months.
  9. I am looking for one as well and found this, not sure if it's the one you have found already.... Prestige Medical Medical Symbols Scope Watch | allheart.com I realize this is an older post, but wanted to add this anyway.
  10. I'm 34 and starting school in January 2013! At first I thought it would bother me to be older, but now it doesn't bother me at all. You just have to put your mind to it, which will probably be easier being a little older and more mature.
  11. Hi. I appreciate your post. I am the same in many ways. People tend to call me "backwards", and it really makes me mad. I'm not backwards, I'm bashful, yes. I don't have any girlfriends, don't seem to have the need. I have my husband and my animals and am completely satisfied with just that. School starts in January 2013 for me and I'm most worried about the social aspect of it all (and of course dosage calculations ). It's good to hear that I'm not alone with these problems and hope to improve in the near future.
  12. I recently got the cost list for my school. I am unable to get a grant(above income limit :***. So going in to the financial aid office is going to be scary for me.
  13. Funny post! Hope you get plenty of rest.
  14. So you can apply as independent on the FAFSA if you're over 24yrs and are married? I've been trying to figure this out before I apply in October.
