It's insanely early to think about this, but here's a thread for anyone applying for the VCU DNAP cohort set to begin January 2021, the application window is open! Are you studying for your GRE yet? ?
I have 4 friends in the program, in various stages. The majority said they felt comfortable keeping a PRN/pt job for the first semester but once the Summer session hit then they said they hit the ground running.
The Mrs. and I saved up enough so I wouldn't have to work, but having extra income might not be too bad.
Coffee- I didn't think of anything on the spot to ask for post interview questions. LOL and I also have been going through my head about different examples I could have used instead of the ones I gave. Then I just keep reminding myself that I put my best foot forward and hope they select me. LOL
I took a covid travel assignment so that helps keep the mind busy enough to not focus to much on this whole process.

I did the same. I saved up enough to pay for school and living expenses. We have 3 boys, so while I know this will be a big time investment, I want to still save time for them where I can.
I keep going through my answers in my head as well. I think it’s because I’m so invested in this one school. We are relocating regardless of whether or not I get in. So I was only really able to apply to VCU. One then being the top choice and 2 there’s nothing else in the area. So if I don’t get in, I will have to reapply next year. And with a new manager and no contacts, it makes me worry I won’t be able to get references ? So I’m crossing all my fingers and throwing a Hail Mary so to speak LOL

I interviewed and got accepted to Georgetown last year but deferred because VCU is just a better fit for my family. Hail mary for sure. I didn't even get an interview invitation last year when I applied to VCU. Just like you, all my eggs in one basket ?
I feel like there are a few folks in this thread who interviewed last year, no? Did they give you specific feedback for reapplication this time around? Good luck you guys! I'm sitting here at home waiting for my Covid NP swab results and can't go back to work for 7 more days at least...a bit stir crazy, to say the least, and it's a beautiful day outside.

It’s going to be an interesting week for sure. LOL
We are headed to Richmond this weekend to work out some stuff with our living arrangements. The realtor, home the designer, the project manager, and a few others keep calling from random 804 numbers... I’m pretty sure I go into SVT every time... ?

Did anyone get a reply to their post interview questions??
