Vanderbilt Summer 2020 Nurse Residency

Hey everyone! Just thought I would create a page for us to chat about the upcoming application process and everything that follows! I graduate in May 2020 and am hoping to apply for the CVICU or the adult ED.

I got waitlisted for Mother Baby OB! How long do people who get offers have to accept or decline??? Just wondering how long I’ll be waiting since I have other offers pending!

So all remaining interviews are through Skype now because of COVID ? I'm having a hard time adding the correct contact though! Has anyone else had this problem?

They didn’t add me til morning of! And then they called me on the phone before my interview to check with everything!

Did they email and tell you that?? This is the first I’ve heard of this! Just curious.

Yes it was in an email! Then there was a follow up email from Tracey

If others had been waitlisted, they have been contacting more people. They emailed me the other day for a peds floor interview, so keep checking your emails if you may hear something!

My interview is April 1st for the Cardiac Stepdown Unit and I haven't received an email about it being through skype! did you reach out or did they contact you first?

They reached out first! They might just be reaching out week by week, my interview was on Monday

I'm interviewing for the cardiac step down unit on April 1st! I got waitlisted for my first choice (L&D)-anyone else interviewing for cardiac step down?

I’ve heard testing centers have been closing.... which I guess could potentially delay when we take our NCLEX? A friend of a friend said her NCLEX was cancelled this week
