Hey everyone! Just thought I would create a page for us to chat about the upcoming application process and everything that follows! I graduate in May 2020 and am hoping to apply for the CVICU or the adult ED.

I was wondering this too. I have heard rumors that NCLEX exams will be pushed back, but I'm not sure this is true or not.

I can't imagine that the program would not accommodate to this and delay the cohorts, but it is definitely a concern of mine as well.

Yeah Pearson Vue closed testing centers until mid April nationwide.

As of now, Pearson Vue has suspended testing until at least April 16th. So, all tests scheduled from now until then have been unscheduled and they have extended any ATTs that would have expired by 6 months.

Just got an email that I'm an alternate for peds float pool, does anybody know how long it takes to find out if you could be selected?

I got an email last Friday that I’m an alternate for Mom Baby. Still no response. I emailed ---- and she said you can be contacted up to a month before start date, which is kinda inconvenient if you have other offers/banking on this one

Friends who have gotten an offer:

What was the time of day that she called? I know it was evening, but was there a specific hour/time frame?

Also, if they turned you down, was it just an email, or phone call as well?

I interviewed on Wednesday for surgical ICU and was waitlisted on Friday.
