Hi! I'm starting a thread for Vanderbilt MSN Fall 2019. Anyone else applying/re-applying too? Please comment!

I think it was about 2 or 3 weeks (after all my transcripts etc were turned in) that I got an email that said my application was under review. I think you will obviously hear later than this week. I think I heard someone else on this thread saying people who applied later wont hear until sometime in March. I would email admissions, I received email replies from them fairly quickly (1-2 days). Good LUCK!
Thanks for the info! I applied for the Peds PC Prespecialty track, which doesn’t seem to be as common on this thread. Hoping to hear something by the end of March I guess?
It depends on whether they had enough quality applicants to fill their class who applied by the deadline. If they did, you may still hear from them and be wait-listed.
Essentially, it is my understanding that they review in the first round everyone who submits by the priority deadline (11/1). If they can fill their class with good applicants from those people, they will. But if they don't have good quality applicants, they will keep looking through the folks who submitted later.
I would think it all depends on their applicant pool.
Good luck!!

I have valid RN license, hold ASN and foreign doctorate degrees, have 2 publications( 1- neurology, 1- psych), have couple observeships( psych), poster presentations(psych).Nursing GPA -4.0, total-3.58. Guess what, NEVER heard from PMHNP program, and have feelings never will......
@ringelm out of curiosity what were your foreign doctorate degrees in? Have you worked as an RN?

I have not worked as RN, because I got a license last April, there is no point to get RN job and quit few months later if accepted by the school( at least this is how I think, plus I already have a job , equal to RN salary anyway) . I hold MD degree from one of the country’s in Eastern Europe .

Congrats on your recent graduation and getting a license! Why did you switch from MD to nursing?
